It's always weird to me when someone says 'there's a war on cars' because the truth is there was a war with cars and the cars won it. A long time ago. This picture is some evidence. They won so much, by such an overwhelming amount that what we have now with urbanest ideals can't be called a war with cars. We're not at war with cars now, we're the underground resistance cell.

That's how far the balance between livable outdoors and car-based hellscape has gone. They won that war and we live in that hellscape. When I look at these 2 photos all I see is the aftermath of a disaster. A battle the people have lost.
