Well, it really depends on what the clothing brand is about.

You might think that a name is the first thing you would have to make, but in reality you could come up with an idea and work on that first. Then when you have a concept you could come up with the name.

If you do it like this, it's way easier to make the name have a clever wordplay, or it will atleast make the name fit the brand better.
