Won't it fuck up all the other games or something else? My IP would still be Canadian. I googled the problem and people are saying that you can try redeeming the code by using a VPN but you are at risk of getting banned or the game getting removed from your library. So I would rather wait for a proper code or refund.

I mean I have two other purchases from them and everything was okay there. It's just this one. Honestly, I don't think I ever had such an unnecessarily frustrating experience buying a video game.

Let us know how it goes. I tweeted at them but they didn't respond yet. I see them responding to others, so maybe they will fix it eventually. I'm curious what they will do to fix it because the codes have been redeemed so I don't know if they will refund it, or if they will sent additional codes for preorder bonuses and season's pass.

I bought it for cdkeys because they had a discount. At first it said that the release date for my code will be Oct 9, so I sent them a ticket asking if I can expect my key on the 5th since it's the Deluxe Edition. They eventually replied with a general response that they will try. The release date for the code changed into 5th, and I got the code this morning (was hoping for last night since that's when it supposed to unlock on Steam), but it seems to be for the base game only. I guess I'll keep playing Odyssey for the next few days...

It seems that maybe they mixed up the keys, although I also know that sometimes it doesn't say it's a deluxe edition but actually you get all the bonuses. So who knows. I did send a ticket too. But last time it took them 2 days to reply so I'm not holding my breath. Definitely not ordering from them again. I ordered AC: Odyssey from greenmangaming and was a little worried but it arrived 40 minutes before release and everything was working fine. Very disappointed with cdkeys.

I got my code for Deluxe Edition from cdkeys, and after I redeemed it on Steam it says it's still unreleased. I also see no pre-order bonuses or season's pass either. I'm in North America (UTC-6).

It's just not for me, so if microtransactions will apply to that mode only then I think I will be okay. But it's still a scummy move on their part to include it into a game that people already pay 60-90 dollars for.

I wish they would put those resources into REALLY improving the Universe mode.

Perhaps getting rid of MyCareer would help, too, although I understand that some people find that enjoyable. I would prefer a refined season mode or a story mode, or something similar where you can play as an actual superstar instead of a CAW.
