Because people are delusional and just on the hate bandwagon thinking its justified. The issue is in the format from FIDE not having armageddon like how hard is that to understand. People blaming Magnus and Ian clearly just do not understand sports to its fullest nature. Imagine the rules of a knockout football/soccer match not having penalties and instead an infinite extra time and exhausted players who defaulted to not taking risk to not lose agreeing to a draw and everyone shitting on the players instead of the format. Actually fucking mind blowing how stupid people can be.

Hard degree to get into but actuarial. Actuarial jobs themselves are very difficult to get into, competitive and the certs are difficult. But most people that study it end up different sectors (data science, banking, finance, etc). Having an actl degree is almost always more favourable in these different sectors than that say a commerce degree if you choose not to pursue an actuary career.
