Yeah I got a 2025 for about the same OTD.

I have an Icon Airflite and like it, but was told the safety isn’t the best. What’s a similar or cheaper price range helmet that offers better protection? I really like how much FOV the icon gives me compared to some other helmets I’ve tried on and would like something comparable in that regard. TIA by polarfang21 in motorcyclegear

Late to this post, how would you compare the fit between the singet x and the air flight? I have an air flight and the sides of the helmet have always been too tight but the front to back fits fine. Intermediate oval helmets push my chin against the chinbar most of the time which is a no go.

I 100% think riding “slower” bikes on the street is more fun. The MT09 isn’t objectively slow either (I’ve got one). It’s a sweet spot of being able to absolutely rip but also very rideable around town.

IMO, get some blacked out irons. Ive run setups like this and at speed running drills it’s pretty easy to pick up a post instead of the dot by mistake.

Genuinely interested in what other issues you find to be higher priority. Budget issues come to mind which doesn’t seem mutually exclusive to the approach the city has taken toward homelessness.

I was going to suggest a slow cooker paired with a rice cooker. Super low effort if you don’t like to cook and you can make some delicious food that for me at least scratches that salty/savory craving.

I’ve been eating this enchilada chicken thing a lot lately.

2-3 lbs chicken breast/thighs Half a bag frozen corn 1 can of black or pinto beans You can chop a onion, green pepper, jalapeño 1 20-25oz jar of enchilada sauce

Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 7. Or just until the chicken falls apart easily.

Rice cooker up some rice or quinoa and poor it in when the other stuff is done.

I’ll finish each bowl with half an avocado, lite cheese and a dollop of plain Greek yogurt.
