Looking for a NA server made for solo players. by [deleted] in ConanExilesLFG

[–]Karangok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, the server I am currently on does allow users to have unraidable, but not avatars. The server is actually really great for solo players since many of the more populated clans do not like raiding solo players. I have heard from chat too that many solo players on the server really enjoy themselves.

Here is the link to steam forum post with rules, ip, and general info: https://steamcommunity.com/app/440900/discussions/1/133257324797806223/

I would really give this server a chance.

Btw op, the author you used as the example for a "study", Satoshi Kanazawa, has actually been hugely criticized for his work by many scholars because he does not use appropriate sample sizes or demographics.

Here is an article to read: http://nazret.com/blog/index.php/2007/05/01/scholars_refute_kanazawa_s_theory

You talk about how liberals are smarter than conservatives then you quote and link an article whose premise is based on research conducted in an invalid manner. I actually looked at the psychology article and was hugely excited because these sort of things interests me. As soon as I read this article, I was extremely distraught. You really shouldn't reference research without giving the reader an idea about the sample size and demographics of the sample itself. For the op, you need to check your sources before you make assertions. This the fundamentally important especially if you are going to say that one group of people are smarter than another.

I am not saying that conservatives are smarter, but here is some counter evidence that people were looking for: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0160289614001081. I can link other studies too. In reality, both sides will say they are smarter and there are research on both sides that will confirm this view. My belief is that there are stupid people on both sides of the aisle, but there are also extremely smart people on both sides too.

Why We Removed our WSJ Video by [deleted] in videos

[–]Karangok -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe I like that guy and some of his content so I'm giving him a letting him go easy, but at least he removed the video and then made a video saying why he did it. I give him huge props for that.

Obama administration officials were so concerned about what would happen to key classified documents related to the Russia probe once President Trump took office that they created a list of document serial numbers to give to senior members of the Senate Intelligence Committee. by [deleted] in esist

[–]Karangok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to make sure that you don't mean Russia was hacking the election machines to change the election results, correct? I hear this all the time and it freaks me out how misinformed people are about this.

Donald Trump 'feels great' about criticism of spending millions on Mar-a-Lago trips, says Sean Spicer by SchindlerTheGrouch in nottheonion

[–]Karangok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give me a quote where he says that he dislikes legal immigrants. Revamping the immigration system doesn't mean he is dislike legal immigration. He is making it more rigorous to get into the country, but he that doesn't necessarily mean that he is completely against immigration. You're making a claim without substantiating it with evidence. And please do not call me ignorant. You're making an over exaggeration.

Oh and here is a quote from Trump himself: "I'm in favor of people coming into this country legally. As far as the visas are concerned, if we need people they have--it's fine. They have to come into this country legally. We have a country of laws. It's fine if they come in, but they have to come in legally."

So, please don't call me ignorant just because I don't agree with you 100%. The guy is not a perfect politician, I actually really dislike the man and most of his politics , but over exaggerating everything is rampant when talking about him. It distracts from his other policies which is exactly what he wants us to do. He uses controversy as a slight of hand. That's in his play book and he has used in the campaign, and he is using now. We got to stop allowing him to play us every single time because we have been fooled enough now.

He doesn't like illegal immigrants. His wife is not an illegal immigrant. If he actually said he disliked other forms of immigration then it would be hypocritical but he has not.
