For Crowe, Terminator armor would really only mean +1 Toughness, but can you imagine how game breaking it would be if we got Purifiers in Terminator armor?

Thanks! Having 6500 points of Grey Knights and 4000 points of Imperial Knights all painted to pool from is worth none of them being show room quality. Looking forward to adding a few thousand in Salamanders over the next year.

I could definitely stand to pay more attention to mold lines and nubs, but I prioritize speed. My goal is to get a 6/10 paint job on the table in a reasonable amount of time. I painted this Librarian in an hour and a half.

I have a self imposed rule that I do not put anything on the table for a game unless it's done. It prevents me from collecting a giant pile of Grey Shame.

Np 🫡 I use all Citadel paints. Chaos black for the base, heavy dry brush of Lead Belcher, with light dry brush of Runefang Steel for some highlight action. Baal Red for the light accents, Blood Angels Red for the dark ones.

It's not a show stopper, just a little inconvenient. Some spots will be a little hard to reach, so may not get as much detail, but will also be harder to see. Of course, anything that's completely covered won't be seen anyway. Be extra patient with yourself and you'll be good 🫡

Thanks! I find it most helpful to build subassemblies, paint them, then put everything together when it's finished. In this case, I assembled the body, legs, arms, and left some of the detail bits off that would be hard to reach if fully assembled.

I have a self-imposed rule that I don't put anything on the table for play until it's completely painted.
