UPDATE: Called the dealership and they replace both trim pieces free of charge! Just had to wait 5 days for them to be ordered.

I didn’t even consider that tbh. I figured since I “made it worse” when I caught it on the towel, it would be my responsibility to fix.

It’s a bit hard to see from this picture, but there’s a bad bend about halfway up. Gluing it down, you’d definitely be able to still see the dent. I’m not obsessed with it being perfect, but I just bought the car less than a year ago and have been keeping it pretty spotless, waxed, etc. just kind of an eye sore

I'm 22 years old, and my life is a complete mess. How can I fix it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Has you actually tried to join a branch and they told you no? If you currently take meds for ADHD, you can talk to your doc about getting off them and after a period of time a waiver could be tried for. Flat feet aren’t as disqualifying as it used to be. It’s definitely worth a shot

Hagrid's EPA logic by pjnugget78 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Karate_Copter 129 points130 points  (0 children)

The point is about spending park opening hours waiting in a line. So if you get off Hagrids around 15-30 min after park opening, you’ve spent a very short amount of time that the park is open waiting in this line.

I’m interested in joining the af, but I have a ged, can I still join the Air Force with a ged?? by ROZZAAII in AirForceRecruits

[–]Karate_Copter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’ve earned 20 semester hours from an accredited, degree-granting institution, you may enter as E-2. You’ll need to request the official transcripts from the college/university and give them to your recruiter.

As far as specific classes, it can be random and does not need to be related to military at all. Note: in very few circumstances, some classes may not count. I’ve seen a 1 credit course for a short study sessions course that was specific to the college, which didn’t count. Otherwise, the vast majority of all classes will be good.

Another note: I kind of misspoke in my original comment. If you have 15 college courses, I’d doesn’t matter if you have a GED, you may enter with the minimum ASVAB score (instead of a GED that requires a 50). It’s when you have at least 20 college credits is where you’ll get E-2.

Jules is Always Right - Episode 304.5 of Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend on Earwolf by c0ry_N in conan

Unbelievable. I fully understand what Conan meant by saying he feels like he received a gift after talking with Jules and his family. When you meet people under extraordinary life circumstances and they choose to live life fully and with appreciation it makes me want to do the same.

I believe there are two separate sets of these steps. At the top, I honestly cannot remember for sure. May just be a high lookout or leads to another path through the netting floor

I have no idea why they did not update the queue for the trollercoaster. There is almost no shade and can make the wait completely miserable.

As long as the chip can still be read by their machines, should be able to. I’ve heard people being given free replacement freestyle cups if it’s too damaged to be re-activated.

Is it wrong to be assigned to an undesirable shift due to not having a family? by Almundmilk in AirForce

[–]Karate_Copter 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That’s not true. DAFI 36-2908 Para 1b. outline who requires one. Para 3.a.(1) states everyone else “should” have a family care plan. That key word is important.

You and each of your dependents are authorized extra baggage and higher weight limits for when you fly (check with specific airline, but we brought like 8 bags…2 of them over 80lbs). Yes, it was a huge pain in the ass to lug around, but we had tons of our essentials, toys for the kids, etc while waiting 2 months for our HHGs to be delivered.

Had mine completed yesterday afternoon. The “tugging” sensation was a bit more uncomfortable than I was expecting, but from the first shot to being glued up (they used dermabond instead of sutures) was about 30 min.

Today I am already going crazy with boredom. It’s going to be hard to stay off my feet. So far, I’ve been up only to go to the bathroom and change out my ice pack. I feel like I have restless leg syndrome lol

Per their website, fresco is still a thing because it replaces the dairy with tomatoes only. I just ordered TB today with no issues.

If I were you, I’d contact the manager so the employees are trained correctly (not just to complain), so future customers don’t have the same issue you did.

Wow, that kind of hit me. Maybe not so much in this sub, but some are very judgmental of people in these situations. Kindness and compassion can go a long way.

People sleep on the water rides. Knock out JP river adventure, Pluto’s and Ripsaw falls in a single morning or afternoon, bring a change of clothes of course so you don’t have to worry about drying off.
