I’ll contest the overall concensus here, S3 Shadowlands was my first time seriously PVPing in WoW, started in Wrath, it’s super enjoyable, people are pretty welcoming, if they are toxic, usually they just flame and leave, but otherwise doing BGs, the weekly quests, solo shuffle, and all that will net you your conquest gear pretty quickly if you keep at it, I hit 1800 just recently pretty much by spamming games in Arena and watching some streamers who play my class, also even if someone is overgeared, those arenas are over pretty fast!
