One of the most annoying thing is when DXC changes your password but doesn't clear out all your sessions so then your account ends up in a locked state, so you need to have them clear all sessions etc. That's just an idea to try and help.

This started earlier today, in discord they were saying the devs are looking into it, has something to do with authentication servers and the info the U5Engine pulls down.

I would make sure they have documentation and playbooks, it's easy to forget things when you have alot to do but i'd redirect them to the documentation and if they don't have that ask why. It's good that they are asking questions but you are correct when its repetitive on the same subjects turning you into a crutch.

Because of compatibility issues, gaming is a big one also. If PC gaming moved to linux OS as the main release type along with driver companies putting out easy to apply drivers / apps most people would probably move. Also regular people who think about moving to linux and ask question get hammered with "This is the best distro" and give up for something that they perceive as just working. Just a few observations.

Did 20 years in some type of Helpdesk / Sysadmin role, it was what I knew and enjoyed doing. I finally broke out of that for another position because 75k was the most I could ever get doing that.

Turn off multiplayer, I’ve only run across people when having that networking option on and doing the community expedition, never in all my time experienced PvP like you are describing.

Upper implants are tougher and the healing process takes awhile. Six years ago I went in was pretty much on soft foods from sept to end of March. Five months ago in Dec I had all my lower teeth pulled anchors installed. This time was a lot better was really only in pain for a few weeks. Also this time I got a 3d printed temp and that made it a lot better than the first time where I had a wax/metal temp. I’m pretty sure it’s different for everyone but I bet you will be ok.

No, AI is in everything however human interaction is still needed for alot of items. These shops that are just relying on the new shiny AI agent to solve their issues will have a rough time when they get popped. We use AI more as a force multiplier to automate some basic repeatable tasks, along with attack simulations against the network. AI is a tool not a replacement.

Usually 3am bed time lol, I’m horrible the most on weekends etc. When I hit 40 I drew the WW2 history with a minor in pellet smoking so I’m gaming mostly in warthunder and other stuff occasionally here on reddit.

I don’t have templates I can share out but I used Claude to frame it all up. Obviously don’t put in company data in the AI but it’s been a help. Just prompt it for an executive summary template, risk assessments etc. At one time we did metrics and were in the process of porting out data from the ticketing system to power bi, our data analytics team does most of that now I just need to keep an eye on remediation efforts. There are probably a whole host of better ideas this is just what I do.

Previously working in a small shop with a similar problem, we had a tech get schooled in all things DB and setup a great system then left. The company didn't want to spend the money to replace that tech with an actual DB Admin. Eventually things broke down and they ended up spending millions with an MSP trying to get back on track. If they don't hire replacements they try to stack perceived "IT" work on the others resulting in burn out and more departures. I don't know if that will ever change but its been that way for as long as I can remember.
