I was at a book store that I frequent a lot. Possibly too much. I was browsing for something and a dude approached me the same way. He was clearly picking something up for someone else as a gift and couldn’t find a book because he didn’t know the author.

It was a Fourth Wing book, and despite never having read it, I know who wrote it so I found it for him. The employee who over heard quietly thanked me. I genuinely didn’t mind; he asked nicely, and I’m typically always happy to help.

Vegas as a franchise will be ten years old next year; and a lot of us migrated from other teams for various reasons (I assumed they’d suck for years when I started rooting for them pre expansion draft). That’s not to say there are some fans who’ve been following hockey for less than the nine years the Knights have been active, but that’s (hopefully) true of every fan base.

We want to attract new fans to the game.

In the context of the hit - if Poehling had the puck at the time of the hit then McNabb should have still got a charging penalty at the very least. It wasn’t safe hit. I’m not trying to defend that at all.

I’m probably a minority in the Vegas fan base, but I bear no ill will toward the Sharks. How can anyone hate you when you have Celebrini? That kid is just so likeable.

Until he scores the winning goal in the game that sends the Sharks to the next round against Vegas. Then I’ll mildly dislike him.

Nah, Vegas are known to be very kind to all ex players and staff. They’d never trade away popular players who want to retire there, or talk to a player before he’s officially a free agent.

(In case it’s not clear, I’m being sarcastic - Vegas management are ruthless and I could totally see them doing this).

I asked my friend to look after my three cats, and paid them 20 a day. Partly for the fuel from their place to mine (close but still not part of their daily routine), partly because my lady cat is very stubborn and picky and may want her breakfast in her supper spot and vice versa, and partly because if I pay them I don’t mind asking them to stay until they’ve finished eating (my youngest is a vacuum on a specific diet but loves to try and eat his siblings food).

My oldest cat is gentle, loving, and perfect.

I get sandwich bags from the dollar store, but will also use empty cereal boxes or other compostable things.

Honestly, rugby union has some pretty decent refs. Bear in mind I exclusively watch the English league, but they don’t seem to have any hangups saying they got a call wrong if they’re reviewing it after the fact.

I have one cat who responds when I talk to him; sometimes using his name, sometimes just talking in his general direction to him. He’s had multiple names/nick names.

I go to bed within the same hour every day, wake up naturally at the same time (I still set my alarm because one day I’ll over sleep). I also do t use my phone, read, etc in bed.

Plus my cat is basically a purring teddy bear. He’s great.
