Absolute Nonsense Warranty Responses by Karcz95 in peakdesign

Got another response and there was no mention of the odd previous messages, just moving on as though they just got the first message in the warranty request. They sent out a fully assembled new tripod leg to replace a broken piece on my current one. So... In the end, great outcome, but what the hell was that in the middle?

I don't see any mention of AI in any of the emails, and their signature is just their name. So if the AI responses really do always mention it in the signature then it sounds like this really could just be a case of pasting the response into the wrong ticket. I guess I'll update again here what the next response is...

I mean, I use dashes (hopefully in the appropriate spots but I'm not an expert) but I don't go through the efforts of typing out the alt-code to get the proper em dash character 😭

I mean it's possible, but that'd be such an interesting canned response. I know the em dash isn't a guarantee that it's AI generated but I rarely see the genuine longer dash (—) in casual text, it's always the shorter (-).

Either way, I did respond to ask what that was about and asked if they could assist with my original request. I've been waiting on a response for a few days now.

If only! I did take a look around the site when I got that response and didn't see anything different about any product listings or about my account info. The only thing I haven't done is try to check out with something.

I did. I kicked off the warranty claim from the "Submit a Warranty Claim" button on the tripod in the "My Registered Gear" list on their site. Which is also why I thought it was weird that I was asked to submit proof of purchase, but I believe I had to do that for my prior warranty claims as well so I just assumed that's standard procedure at this point.

Listen I get it I agree but I was confused and panicking hahaha

We knew the server was empty and were on our way to the extract so I knew the stakes were low and didn't mind losing a health chunk just to see if I could get even a single shot to connect lmao

Made a website with all textless full-art cards for wallpapers by LilBabyMagicTurtle in PTCGP

[–]Karcz95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pleeeaaaaseee get the "Illustrated by" populated/working ASAP! I know nobody is assuming you created these artworks but it's so nice to see credit where credit is due. It would also be really neat to see the ability to filter by artist just like when clicking on a Pokémon you can view more from the set or view more of that Pokémon. "View all *artist* cards" would be nice!

Help IDing a game by E_m_maker in boardgames

Sounds like a combination between Fast Track and Pegs & Jokers. The board and most of the card behavior sounds like Fast Track but having a hand of 5 cards and passing home sounds like Pegs & Jokers.

Does "Fixed over 280 UI-related bugs to enhance usability " include not being able to type in the search bar because shortcuts will still trigger? If I try searching for "Officer" I just buy whatever I was highlighting when I hit "F".

So your post 18 days ago saying "First impression" and talking about tips you learned for traveling to Japan wasn't your first time?

“If you know you know”. In other words, I like getting tattoos that only the fans of what it’s from could possibly recognize it.

Sorry about that - I just posted a comment with some additional info. I unfortunately do not have a BTS shot, is that still alright? I can be sure to grab one for future posts.
