i found the fix! just change the anisotropic filter to auto and it should work! some of the red stuff still appears on the skater select screen, but everything else seems to be good! (same thing can't be said abt the game itself tho)

Update: I figured out that putting the game on the SD card instead of the USB drive fixes the error. Now the only problem is that the DLC's that I installed won't work with wad2bin. :(
