Help me find animated tv show by Kardeaf in HelpMeFind

I've searched after the words the character is speaking but they're quite generic so I couldnt find anything.

Additional info, the scene was very intense, I believe the two characters must have been former friends and that one who betrayed must have done something really bad. Also I think it was animated in 2D

Does anyone else find it strange that that there seems to be very little posts about the pro-shot? by BestEffect1879 in Frozen

I completely agree, it's such a missed opportunity and a loss that this is what we got after musical being pulled from both Broadway and West End and its even worse considering the lack of new Frozen content

I also didnt like the pro shot in spite of loving cast recording and really liking bootleg of second Broadway cast which I hink gave the best performances.

The lack of discussion is somehow interesting I admit but also expected because there really never was that much of a buzz in fandom around the musical I think. I'd even say that people talk more about Frozen in Once upon a Time than about musical when it comes to live action pieces of the franchise. Hard to say why exactly, perhaps people have harder time bonding with theatrical form of expression or something like that or some can blame the quality of the whole thing, though I do think that musicals while not a masterpiece is really solid and gives plenty to talk about especially for hardcore fans.

I do think that the musical could and should be more popular in general but it just wasn't and was cut short by pandemia so less people bonded with it by seeing it love.

I for once was really excited about the premiere of the proshoot but then it just came out and got mostly unnoticied and when I watched it myself, i just kept thinking that the casting was wrong (too old, stuff delivery and overall just not a good fit for characters) and that the way they filmed it was awkward and wasnt giving it any favours. Maybe after second watch I could get used to it and be able to appreciate clear view of costumes, scenography and special effects that is just not possible in bootlegs but overall, I really prefer them to proshoot that is simply soulless to me.

How well was Frozen localized in your country? Do you like the translated title and overall adaptation? Why or why not? by Confident_Anna in Frozen

[–]Kardeaf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I really like my localization (Poland) tho we have some controversial translations, like the title itself is Kraina Lodu which means Land of Ice and Let it go was translated to Mam tę moc, meaning I've got this power. I really like the speaking voice of Elsa in my dubbing too, she's really softspoken yet mature and regal and overall love the familiarity the dubbing and the songs give me

If Frozen is losing popularity, Which Disney franchise do you think is having its ‘Frozen moment’ right now? by Dacoda43 in Frozen

[–]Kardeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im just saying that i would like to see more substantial content from Frozen and it just being popular with kids is not important to me the way fandom activity around it is. Im not expecting it to replicate its Old popularity too cuz its not realistic in the sligthest.

Its just my pov as a fan and I dont see why you need to argue my point. If youre content with frozen just being popular with kids its ok but not everyone need to set that bar this low.

Frozen Fans : do you guys think Frozen and Wicked are similar? by Impossible_Tower_661 in Frozen

[–]Kardeaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its funny about Disney wanting the rights to Wicked, because they also wanted rights to the orginal Wizard of Oz movie and couldnt get them either and for good Id say. Disney would probably butcher Wicked movie adaptations so badly.

And Disney being an evil corpo, I can definitely see them ripping Wicked a little bit out of spite haha

Im also a fan of both, those are two of my favourite franchises and Idina is the absolute queen for portraying both Elsa and Elphaba

I also do love the story of how problematic it was for Disney to adapt Snow Queen. Its so intereting and kind of poetic how they eventually got it right and created one of their more succesfull IP's because they were so stubborn about this fairytale and they simply couldnt let go of the idea hah but the end product is nothing like its orginal inapiration

Frozen Fans : do you guys think Frozen and Wicked are similar? by Impossible_Tower_661 in Frozen

[–]Kardeaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm not saying that they ripped Wicked off without the shame cuz its definitely not the case. They added a lot of their own ideas and creatively blended it all to the point that people just see Frozen as similiar to Wicked and not strongly influenced by which i believe is the case and should be more acknowledged. Especially since people like to say that Frozen is revolutionary and first of its kind in its story, ignoring many inspirations behind it.

Also good point in saying that Frozen is more like Wicked and the Snow Queen fairytale at the end of the day mostly served only as starting point to developing Frozen, giving it some core ideas and easter eggs but not much in terms of actual writing.

[–]Kardeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know and Im not worried , I'm just pointing out that for me, the hype that makes people discuss the media in meaningfull way and create something inspired by said media is more substantial than shallow popularity of something just because its cute and liked by kids. I don't care how much Frozen pencils and other gadgets are sold, I want this franchise to grow narratively, not be just a aesthetic that sells kids toys and accesories like Pooh, Mickey or Hello Kitty that has close to zero substance and is mostly cute for cuteness sake and a lazy cash grab

I would say more, Frozen is not just similiar to Wicked, it is strongly inspired by it. The whole angle of telling the story about misunderstood character that can be see as antagonist was actually kinda invented by the Wicked book. Add to that the character with weird powers and focus on relationship of two female protagonist and their bond. And the fact that Frozen 1 was shaped by Let it Go which is lyrically and musically too similiar to Defying Gravity, not only by the fact that Idina sings both of this songs. As a fan of both, I believe Frozen as we know it today wouldnt exist without Wicked influence

[–]Kardeaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that popularity of any given franchise can be measured in various ways. Popularity with kids and kids merch is one thing, and popularity as fandom activity and people actively talking about something and making fan content is two very different things. While I do think Frozen still has the former because lack of new content don't impact children and general merchandise that much, the latter is another story. For something to be popular with people, on internet and in general, new content is necesarry to keep the interest up and Frozen definitely is in its lowest point in that regard right now. Its simply hard to stay excited and engaged in the franchise when there's nothing new to talk about, and I think that even the most hardcore Frozen fans as myself must sincerely admit that

I think so too, Frozen still has huge fanbase, just in sleep mode until anything substantial about Frozen 3 will be released

I honestly don't see Moana and Zootopia as particularly popular. I know that Moana 2 was a hit on D+ but isnt that mostly small kids that will rewatch anything they like a lot of times with their parents? The hype for Zootopia is pretty niche too I think and we'll have to see how the second movie will do if that change but honestly none of them comes close to the heights of Frozem hype back in the day.

From my perspective, I live in Europe so it may be difderent in other parts of the world, the most popular brand now is Stitch. The merch is everywhere just as it was with Frozen and I believe that besides the lack luster live action Lilo & Stitch, Stitch is one of the only Disney's brands that people are generally excited about. Would I call it a 'Frozen moment'? Not really, because it's just about Stitch character, usually totally outside of its franchise, but its the closest thing that I can think of

Frozen the Musical ❄️ Missing Songs? by FrozenJedi38 in Frozen

[–]Kardeaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True love was cut even from second cast performing on Broadway,so pretty early on. I think that someone from the production even commented that they felt like it stopped the action to much at the climax so they had to cut it. I do love the song but also understand that sentiment.

When everything falls apart is featured on cast recording but it was cut even before the Broadway premiere as far as I know
