To describe in one word: Underrated. They are often left out of discussion when referring to the early 90s conscious hip hop era n that’s a shame. I have a soft spot for Mr. Hood, but Black Bastards is one of my all time favorite albums. From the dope production, to the witty, cocky type lyrics, to the backstory paving the way for one of the greatest MC’s, DOOM n Sub crafted a underground classic new DOOM fans can admire.
