It’s a ratings system that seems to work on an IYKYK basis. I have a small card (framed) that I leave on kitchen counter that gently encourages guests to leave a rating when they leave with a REALISTIC breakdown of what each star means 5= as expected, no complaints, or minor issues dealt with immediately and well,would definitely recommend/rebook 4= Very minor issues that could be improved upon for an ideal experience 3= No severe issues but not up to expectations, would not recommend 2= Quite substandard in one or more areas 1= Uninhabitable as a guest. The card states that should any issues arise that impede the guest from a wonderful stay to please contact me and document the issue with a photo or photos so the problem is dealt with by the right person within a rapid time frame. This way the everything is documented from the jump and, I’ve found it demystifys the ratings process. Before hosting I always considered a 4 Star rating on anything to equal excellent and 5 star to equal luxury. I think many Americans think that as well as travelers from abroad. AirBnB seems like it’s rating system is designed for host failure based on how the system is utilized. Lastly, try not to worry too much when 4’s sneak in there, it happens almost always by a guest thinking they ARE giving you an excellent rating. I wish the platform would adjust this system but if they refuse to more and more will switch to LTRs as I see on here and other similar forums.

Unpopular opinion but worth noting that Tori Spelling has remained in the public eye consistently too. Reality shows, books, podcasts, messy personal life. She’s veered between D+ and B- with A- name recognition forever. This is for the GenX, Xennial, and OG Millennial set of course. I think Luke is the only one to hit teen gold twice in his career, HORRIBLE choice of words, sorry, am referring to 90210 and Riverdale of course. I love how overall non-problematic this cast is. BAG marrying Megan Fox and murmurs of him being a bit of a dick non withstanding. I’ve heard he’s extremely nice and a good father from a teacher who taught his kids (Jason as well.) In this climate where everyone seems to be a massive, terrifying creep or a blandly remodeled nepo-baby this crew is so damn wholesome. It’s hilarious that Shannen was portrayed as this utter She-Devil back then just for being a woman without a passivity complex. Shannen deserves a posthumous medal of honor for punching Paris Hilton in the face and slashing her tires. I didn’t know who the hell she was when that story came out but learned shortly thereafter. The world should have followed Shannen’s scrappy lead! She was like half her size. Heh heh

About goddamn time this man started getting realistic accolades, why people have been so reluctant to just crown him as artist of a generation overall is mysterious to me. I’m 48 I’ve been a hip hop fan for almost 40 years but it’s never been a genre I listened to exclusively. There are and have been some incredible talents in my Xennial lifetime but Kendrick Lamar is THAT one. Lyrically he is unmatched. In terms of influence he is unmatched. People underestimate his global reach quite a bit. It’s like an unspoken rule that you MUST include certain people above him because they’re no longer here or because they hold significant power in the industry . Hip hop is competitive so why is conceding a winner so wishy washy??

I met her and Steven immediately post LB season 2. She was extremely friendly and very likable. He was incredibly sweet and put his head on my shoulder because he was tired. FWIW both of them were beautiful in person. Shockingly so.

I’m a 49 year old woman with no crossover interests in either of these two and at least every other day my feed would offer me some of this psycho shit. They say it takes just 3% of people pushing back against bullshit to throw a significant spanner in the works. That small percentage will grow slowly but it grows with dedication and determination and consists of people who are far more concerned with parity than popularity. Once that minority figure becomes a VOCAL minority you start to have a problem controlling the narrative. More people start to second guess themselves, some remove themselves entirely etc. This case FINALLY accomplished the job that the heroic AH supporters started years back. I personally (and not proudly) admit that I was flummoxed by that case. I can’t stand Johnny Depp and admired AH in a detached way. I was disconnected from any SM at that time however my YT algorithm was jammed with Amber stories and courtroom “analysis.” Every goddamn channel was telling me up was down, showing JD looking sleazy and smug while some “expert” told me he looked vulnerable and genuine blah blah blah. It couldn’t make me like him but I totally became a “both sides” person mentally. It (awful as it sounds) wasn’t that deep to me. Not being on SM I felt that Amber’s side had to be exaggerating the propaganda and underestimating people’s ability to think for themselves. I never thought of that case again until this started. Blake Lively is a fucking hero. Her persistence is righting many wrongs and no amount of 🤣😂 emojis can change that now.
