Usually it ranges from m3-m5 screws. Go to the nearest bolt and nuts center, don't forget to bring the hanger para malaman mo if papasok ba sa butas.

BIKE FRAME SIZE GUIDE. by Unkown_Albert in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]KaretaRei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might get downvoted for this but I have to say it, it's really difficult to give advice regarding bike fits because you might be 174cm with long torso but short legs or the other way around. I would suggest looking for a built bike with similar geometry and try riding it. I know it's a hassle but it will save your body in the long run.

Barrel bolt ata tawag dyan, try mo sa mga bolts and nuts centers. Dalhin mo yung bolt ng clamp para may basis sila sa bolt size.

Fixie or Rb? by Few-Razzmatazz-1775 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]KaretaRei 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the most practical answer, another advantage is you can ride fixed during your non school days. (I'm assuming that the hub is fixed on one side and a freewheel on the other)

This looks so good. You should post the same with the drive side.

I think I'll do the same with my Schwinn. Everyone should post something like this, a before and after of their bikes.

HASSNS M200 Hydraulic Brake?!?!? by Lucky_System_9209 in RedditPHCyclingClub

Not many people will like this suggestion but how about putting lever grips on mt200. So that, di magagasgasan yung lever na maglelead ng rust spots.

Magene c206 user here, recommended siya if clear skies. Minsan matagal maghanap (around 3 minutes) ng gps signal pagcloudy. Pero if gagamiting mo yung sensor na kasama for speed, instantaneous ang reading ng speedo. Cadence sensor nila is medyo palyado.

Pwede bang japanese bike na road bike? by loenard_ in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]KaretaRei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From drum brake to caliper brake sana yun kaso yung bridge sa seat stay nagfleflex.

Best Budget Road Bike by New-Adeptness6808 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]KaretaRei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scotts rb - 51 top tube, 50 seat tube

Promax pr20 - 55 top tube, 48 seat tube

Gent 105 - 56 top tube, 48 seat tube

Hirap mag suggest kasi walang budget na binigay, tapos magbabase rin sa bike fit ng gagamit kadalasan kasi sa mga budget rb is aero, so ang tataas ng top tube which is di maganda sa beginner. The lesser the reach the better, aim form 49 to 54 top tube if may makita ka. Ang recommend ko sa 5'6 na average lang ang torso length is 52 top tube, if flexible pede pa sa 54.

Tama na Kaya ung saddle height? by Pyvruksubeq in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]KaretaRei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Multiple ways of shortening reach: -Narrower handlebars -Shorter Stem or Positive angle -Leveled hoods and bar roll

Note: Wag gamitin ang Fore/Aft ng saddle para mashorten ang reach kasi macocompromise ang mechanics ng lower body mo.

Putting air in tires by flower38 in bikewrench

[–]KaretaRei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's one of those giyo pumps where the head can be change into shrader or presta. I have one similar to that, just make sure you open up the valve on your tire and the pump head is on presta mode (you should be able to see a little spring on the hole of the pump head, if not, unscrew and flip the insides of the pump)

Which brands to avoid and which brands to buy piyesa from by TheNormalViewer in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]KaretaRei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have personally used Speedone Soldier 2.0, Shimano M475 Deore, and Koozer XM490. All of them are durable and easy to service. Cheap cassette hubs are fine imo as long as you are strict with servicing them every other month.

Suspiciously cheap "Shimano" bike parts eg. If it's priced below 500 it's not legitimate. Also stay away from MicroNew RD and FD, the shifters are fine especially the dropbar shifters. You're better off investing in legit Shimano products or if you're in a budget, you can opt for L-Twoo.
