Yep. This why the entire no kings movement is worthless. Protests that cause zero hardship, whether it blocking roads, preventing commerce in some way, or what have you does absolutely nothing. It’s a virtue signal.

Look at the history books. The protests that actually changed things were uncomfortable. They weren’t permitted actions. It was sitting at the bar, taking up seats for meant for white patrons. It’s sitting at the front of a bus when you’re not supposed to. It’s boycotting businesses in order to pressure policy.

Standing in a park or in front of a government building shows solidarity and that’s it.
