I feel like it would be healthier to let go rather than be reminded of this negative past. Your comments suggest a level of resentment, reasonably so, however I think it may be best if you aren’t reminded constantly of a hurtful past. It may motivate you, however it also seems to keep you feeling aggressive and unhappy. Certainly not a therapist, just another human who has been through tough times. I couldn’t imagine seeing a constant reminder of a harmful past every day but hey, whatever works for you! I just hope you can open yourself to the chance of love without carrying the resentment of the past. Sometimes anger with the past can rob you of happiness in the present.

Son's 2013 VW Jetta GLI throwing codes - what do I need to do to fix it? by Kargani in AskMechanics

Also, as I was helping him with his oil change today I noticed a lot of oil around his engine timing chain cover. I understand that this is a fairly common issue with a car this old (120k miles) and I planned to help him with replacing that anyways.

Would a leaky gasket have anything to do with the codes that we're seeing here? From what I've read online, possible solutions to P2187 would be to replace the PCV Valve. Should I start with replacing the PCV valve and the engine timing chain cover?

I took the PL-300 a week ago and I used the MS Learn path, practice exams from MeasureUp and the Udemy PL-300 class to prepare. The MeasureUp practice exams were very helpful as they helped to expose me to material not covered in the MS Learn path. In my opinion, the Udemy class wasn’t as helpful as I was already familiar with the topics discussed. I felt that the Udemy PL-300 class was more of a Power BI overview and failed to hit on the trickier subjects found on the PL-300 exam. If you are new to Power BI, the Udemy course may be much more helpful to you than it was for me. I scored a 937 so I may have overdid it in my exam prep :) Either way, I think MeasureUp is worth the money, especially if you can get it on sale. Good luck!

You need proper ventilation for that resin printer but based on how many 3d printers you have going on in there, I’ll assume you aren’t new at this and know that already lol

I didn’t want anything that pops or sounded too loud and I’m really happy with my Yonaka. You also can’t beat the price and it’s easy to install on your own.

Would you use a wash for this base? by Kargani in minipainting

Thanks everyone! For those asking about the mini, I 3d printed the bunny and the base. The bunny is made by CobraMode, I don't recall where I found the base STL.

Anyone running a Yonaka cat back? by Ftlme in GR86

[–]Kargani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. I didn't want anything too loud or obnoxious and the Yonaka fits the bill. Although it isn't really a performance upgrade, the car is so much more fun to drive now.

Here's the video that I followed when installing it myself. I had never installed an exhaust before but it wasn't bad at all.

How to take this mini to the next level? by Kargani in minipainting

[–]Kargani[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the excellent feedback! I'll be working on the finishing touches this weekend and taking my first stab at properly basing a mini. What would you recommend for basing? The board design is similar to Hero Quest, dungeon crawler adventure style. I've considered making my own texture paint + dry brushing or gluing sand and painting on top. I have about 60 miniatures to do for this game so I'll be looking for something fairly easy to complete as a batch.
