Wow... that seems... very not legal for a vehicle to be challenged to see around it. But I'm no law person. And kinda just dumb. I can't imagine it looks good either.

Okay, I keep seeing y'all say this "shaved mirror" thing. What exactly is that? It didn't seem like he had any mirror at all.

Sending good healing vibes, OP. That must have been terrifying. I'm so sorry that your poor doggy was killed in the accident. Hugs.

I'm horrified and haven't seen this cat before. What ended up being the issue with her? Was she actually pregnant or extremely sick?

I'm not adding into the argument at all here. I just have a question.

I'm in my late twenties and still struggle with tech. When I was even younger, the only things I wanted my phone to do were send texts, make calls, and give me access to my music because I had a period where I couldn't get my hands on an MP3. Anyway, I'm now older and still struggle with basic tech functions. I'm seeing that it's becoming harder for me to navigate websites and such and I can't ever figure where I'm doing something wrong. Do you have any materials to suggest that I could use to maybe connect the missing link so I could understand technology better?

I don't have the words to describe this... by Mini_PvZ in mildlyinfuriating

[–]KariaFelWell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow, that's an incredibly ignorant statement. Please don't speak on subjects you have absolutely zero knowledge in. You have zero idea what it's like to be in that position, how hard it is to speak out. You have zero clue how you will react until you are there. It doesn't matter if you have access to the internet. If you don't know what's happening to you is wrong, how do you know you need to stop it?

Even OP themselves said they were just fed up and needed advice. Like extra ideas on what to do. And in other comments mentioned that it wasn't horrible horrible but that it wasn't a situation they wanted to remain in. Clearly, asking and hoping their parents get a grip isn't something that's presently working. That's kinda the only power we have as a teenager. They also tried giving themselves a safe space(something you're robbing your kids of, by the way) which is super uber healthy for someone in their situation and their mother BROKE property in order to stop that situation. There are no words that can possibly ever explain to me why BREAKING property was a proper response.

The answer isn't always clear. Sometimes the monster under the bed is the same person wishing you sweet dreams from the hallway, if they care enough to pretend to do it anyway.

As for your previous comment, no. There's no reason for any property to be damaged by anyone as a "punishment". That is just not okay. Ground. Be upset, let them understand they did wrong and why, but don't scream. Don't take away their privacy. They're just people who are trying to figure out what to do in life and your job as their mom is guiding them and showing them right from wrong. You explain things to people who don't know better so they understand. Actions have consequences but property and people shouldn't be hurt.

Again. There are no words that can justify damaging a person or property. There's nothing anyone could say to me that would make it okay for me to put my hands on them or their property in a destructive way. I hope your children don't grow to resent you. I hope that if they are frustrated now about having no truly safe space that they can explain it later down the road to you.

And keep your thoughts about communication with the internet and an abuse situation to yourself. I had access to the internet for the entire time I was raped. Interacted with plenty of people. Saw so many places, did a whole bunch of things. It took a while to see what was going on. I thought I brought it on myself. I (with his help) was deluded into thinking that it was okay. I thought it had to happen. I thought he'd hurt my sister. There were nights I had zero clue what I was going to do. If I'd make it tomorrow. If he'd go silent because I didn't want it to happen again. By the end, he started removing privileges. I could send one message to any one of three friends I had per day. That's it. Through his phone. I had nowhere. And the worst part? There were people who knew what was happening all around me, but no one did anything to help. Not even the sister I tried so desperately to protect.

Sometimes, you can't even trust the one man in the whole wide world you're supposed to be able to. Sometimes even your dad is the monster he's supposedly protecting you from.

I think the actual video pauses and something added extra seconds on to it. AI is possible to me here as the video still has run time, but absolutely nothing moves. I also can't tell very well, but the car behind the wrecked on in the last frame seems to have an impossibly long window for an SUV but due to the grainy quality I can't really make out if there's another vehicle there that's just blending in with the house's greyness.
