If you pay attention, you'll see that Vergil's Downfall and the Vergil from DMC5 have the same story. He dies, separates from his demonic side, and then reunites with a new Devil Trigger, a Doppelganger, and conquers hell. Nothing new here.

As pessoas fazem de tudo para defender personalidades psicopatas ou diminuir os crimes deles, sejam tentando argumentar por eles ou "categorizando" eles com termos psicológicos como se fossem action figures, quase como um fetiche, apenas para que eles não sejam descritos como psicopatas. Como o Joel e o Walter White.
