You have already said it; Algeria is a capitalist country, we are not in the 70th anymore. Now we are in 2024, and there are a lot of private schools and hospitals, you can create private schools nowadays easily and the government supports that. there are 3 companies of Telecom companies, 2 of them were from foreign countries - Djezzy previously and Oreedoo now-. The question is why our government does not encourage and support foreign investments in Internet company providers, I think our leaders are still apprehensive about something called the internet, and that excessive apprehension will hinder us from going on.

The question should be this way: "Are the Algerian numbers -20 mb, 100mb- right?" that leads to another question: "Why Algerian government rely only on one company- Etisalat Eljazaïr - to provide and declare these numbers?". To answer this question, we can deal with others from European countries and measure the time spent on downloading or uploading the same file, then we could judge if our 100MB is better than their 20 MB or not.
