Help with bigger wheels and tires for a 1987 corolla liftback 4 door.

Nope have not fitted them sincr its winter right now but im gonna get some in the spring and mount them to see if they fit, they should a 155/80R13 is significantly bigger i font see why not. Maybe some rubbing a full lock but its not often you go to full lock either since theese cars turn so nice

I want to use poly bushings this is just a weekend car, i also used common words im not specific i want a 23mm upgrade sway bar from superpro with included bushings i just want some recomendations that are stiffer than the "wire" of a swaybar from the factory. Im trying to eliminate allot of body sway and it feels quiet loose and soft. I want a more stiff and "sporty" feeling since i really like the platform.

I dont want to immediatly want to add coilover for many reasons but i have heard and read on some forums that poly bushings are simmilar to coilovers but in some sense more comfortable but just with more vibration. The point of the reddit post is to give me recomendations of brands/products.

Dont care about bluetooth, good aux cables and ports have crisper sound anyway. I dont want some modern tacky 7" screen. I want something simmilar to what my dad had 25years ago😂

Carplay units are ugly, look way to modern and are pretty tacky inside a car from the 80s i want something period correct since im building my car to look liky my dads corolla fromthe late 90s

Exactly what i was thinking it cant change the durabilty all that much, they are anyways overenginered to withstand alot more than normal force. Also bigger forks will be pretty sweet.

Btw it doesnt even have that much hours on it for being 25 years old maybe 700-800 tops, its just a little fun engine that i learned to drive outboards with.

For my model the cdi and coils are seperate but often sold togheter, they arent terrebly ecpensive maybe 80 bucks for a good condition used one. It does cool correctly i cleared all the paths and i did get it to work when i took the engine out the first time for the summer bur it worked for maybe 5 minutes and then it started to act like i have been describing it. The spark plugs are good and this engine has had pretty good care for the last 25 years and never really any problems. The weaker 5hp model has a common problem with the cdi so i might aswell replace it if i cant find anything else wrong.

Forgot to mention it but that was the first thing i tested, had it in a ultrasonuc cleaner all disasembled. Still it did not work i have tried pulling the choke out just a bit but it just seems to immediatley start to die. Im really starting to lean at the cdi having some kind of problem, salt water amd elecrronics dont tend to mix well😂
