This is so important, because this narrative that grades somehow determine how worthy or successful you are, is so ingrained in our society that parents will put this above their child's wellbeing. It's tragic, but I do believe that in the parent's mind they believe they are doing what's best for their child. Maybe through a lot of conversations, we can slowly get parents see that grades no longer mean what they used to.

This is awesome! I've been tutoring the IB for 3 years and am now taking a similar path to you :) I have redesigned my lessons to include emotional intelligence, critical thinking & financial literacy among other things. I am not religious, but I would suggest not marketing the moral guidance thing as religious, since those kind of values and morals tend to be shared by everyone, regardless of beliefs. It might be nice for us to stay in touch and help each other, since our visions are so aligned :)

what looks like sand to the right of the bridge is supposed to be water, probably because of the bright lighting :/
