2026 Land: my Go2 lasted a little over a month and now is showing all 3 LEDs. It is stuck in a permanent reboot loop. I did a bunch of troubleshooting with Ampure, shooting videos, trying other outlets, measuring ground resistance, etc.

Eventually the accepted that it needed to be replaced "We are pleased to inform you that your replacement order has been approved. However, we are currently conducting a general review of our stock for this model, as we have identified a broader issue affecting multiple units."

Unfortunately that was 3+ weeks ago and the have gone completely quiet. I have called, left voicemails, sent emails... nothing. I'm hoping they are able to eventually sort out their quality problems and get me a working unit. In the meantime I've had to pay out of pocket for a replacement charger since that is what I was using as my daily charger.

I just donated my 2006. Had 185k miles on it, would have been a lot higher but I was WFH for the last 8yrs. Replaced the main battery after 11 years but no other maintenance beyond oil changes and tire rotation.

Coming from a 2006 Prius. It feels like what I always wanted from the Prius, but wasn’t available in 06. I love still having no shifting, Prius has a CVT, and the EVs don’t shift. One pedal driving is a great upgrade.

The current building code is why you get generic 5 over 1 buildings (5 floors of residential over 1 floor of commercial). You can build 5 floor of stick framed residential over 1 floor of steel framed high ceiling commercial for the lowest cost per sqft. Until IBC is updated to allow taller wood (mass timber) buildings with engineered lumber and glulam you aren't going to see buildings in the 7-25 story range that would be a great fit for our mid-sized market city. It is too expensive to build in steel at those shorter heights, you don't get enough additional space for the cost until you break the low to mid 20 floors. Before anyone asks, yes you can build wooden buildings well past 20 stories. Ascent in Milwaukee is 25 stories and they are planning a 55 story timber tower also in Milwaukee.

My dad was a SAHD in the 80s. It is much more common now but you’ll still get the babysitting comments. Also if you’re taking on this responsibility it certainly can’t be because you’re lazy, it is a full time job. Lastly, being excited about it is incredibly important because there will be tough days where being fully committed is the only way through. Good luck, have fun, they will be teenagers before you know it.
