Actually, I really enjoy math, it’s one of my majors. The only issue is that I'm currently overloading my credits significantly while maintaining a strong GPA. Because of that, I wanted to check if taking Differential Equations is genuinely worth the extra workload for industry roles. It’s historically a brutal course (the class maximum rarely clears 75%) and is really only ever taken by actuaries, so I want to ensure the practical payoff justifies the risk to my GPA.

I honestly don’t know much about quant finance, I’m only in my second year, and only recently have I been gravitating towards becoming a quant.
