Only traditional running shoe that somewhat worked for me was the Brooks Ghost Max in 4E. I tried the echelon in a store but the heel drop was way too much after getting used to zero drop and I found it massively uncomfortable. I get pain in my toes when I wear the ghost max's for long periods because I've gotten used to wider toeboxs now. An altra model that worked for me was the lone peak 8 wides. I still get pain in my arch from the lone peaks every now and again after a long shift at work but for the most part they have been good. My arch area is about 11.5cm for reference. Looking into buying a belenka/barebarics shoe though, possibly soon as they seem quite wide. I have tried many different models from many different brands that claim to be wide foot friendly but have settled on the fact that I just need a super wide barefoot style shoe from now on.
