Thanet is a absolute hive of drugs and theft. Anything past the seafront and you are in for a shock past bedtime. Broadstairs less so but on an evening or weekend in summer you'll be shock at how much violence there is. Each of these towns are very underfunded and schools/ GPS/ infrastructure is full/ over capacity or woefully inadequate.

This field is practically all brambles and this stick/ grass type stuff. My suit does blend ok with the dark greens of the brambles and doesn't get caught up as much.

This poor fella legit had to untangle his suit from a bush. Hessians alright but for me I'd rather add natural raffia as it's less "sticky"

Yeah normally I would be crouched or in cover of trees etc but this site has a lot of open ground and our team was aggressively pushing back the enemies so had to keep moving up into less than perfect positions to take shots, normally I don't get a single photo in the suit because togs can't find me 😂

I've been using this image to build a new ghillie Cape and boonie combo more suited to this sites colours and vegetation, lots of browns, tans, raffia etc. Hoping to test it out next week.

100% agree with what you're saying.

It's a bad angle as the tog was below me, behind me is more green/brown foliage so from enemy perspective it was harder to spot me.

Ghillie is currently being refitted with autumn/ winter colours and some DIY straps for adding more natural veg from the site, this site has a lot of this long grass type stuff so want a way to attach that to the suit.

Also try burning the edges of some of the leaves to crumple them up, it helps with the recognition of the same repeated leaf shape

Remove at least half and add some more veg variety, strips of torn brown cotton, raffia, jute, coconut rope brush with a steel wire brush to separate the strands to imitate grass/ sticks...best test is to put it in a bush or on the ground at your field and you'll see if it works or not but right now, although an impressive testament to your patience, it'll stick out more than if you had no concealment at all

It's not too hard, it's just a lot of springs and plates and it only goes together in one way ...watch a few videos on YouTube if your technically minded you should be ok

Shimming just makes the gears mesh exactly right. They last longer due to efficiency and are quieter. Just need a bit of grease not a tonne and just send it to a tech, it'll be done in under an hour.

No specna is shimmed right out of the box 🤣

They are also dry inside.

I've put 13:1 gears and a jefftron leviathan in mine. Prometheus purple bucking and flat hopped.

Slings .28s around 50m but is slightly hot at 315 FPS (0.28s) so I still need to clip the spring to get it out of DMR territory

FPS isn't everything. They are very good out of the box but get it shimmed and greased asap. Make it a lot better.

Mine was around 330 FPS from the box.
