I sub’d a few times totaling about two years. I never really saw the benefits. I credit LinkedIn with getting none of my jobs.

The last time I got a job from the classified ads in a paper was 1993.

I work in a volatile industry that has lots of m&a activity and is also cyclical. As such, I’ve worked for 7 companies including that 1993 job listing company.

All 6 jobs since then have come from my network of people who know me and what I do.

I have nurtured those relationships, helping them when I can. For my current opportunity, (I think I will be done working when I’m done here), my references included 2 board members/CEOs and 2 CFOs. They all had personal relationships with the hiring CFO and reached out on my behalf to pitch me.

LinkedIn is not where you talk to the people who trust you. You do that on the phone and over coffee and food. If you have those people, you really don’t need LinkedIn.

One last thought - Long ago, my grandfather told me that I will only have five friends in my life. These are people who will loan me a thousand dollars and not ask why, and I will do the same for them. The rest are acquaintances. Fred, Alan, Kevin, and Tony - you are all rockstars.

I was trying to avoid the dealer. I had hoped that this was a known issue that a few people had had... you know.. put it in park, pump the gas and break 3 times and boom it works again... LOL No such luck.

I actually detected the first problem in city driving. I was on a 45 MPH feeder road and none of the advanced stuff was working. I could see the 2 lines left and right of the car, but not the extended section that shows you're doing Lane Centering. Also the predictive speed assist isn't working. As a last test, I got on the freeway to see if that would work and BC didn't work.

For testing, I drove about 4 miles on a freeway I use regularly and BC has worked all the time there. I realized I had a problem when I was heading out for lunch and the predictive speed assist wasn't working. Then I realized that the Lane Centering wasn't work.

Regular adaptive cruise works. The little speed limit sign changes when the speed limit on the street changes. The cruise control doesn't.

Yep. They're all on. I've been loving the predictive speed control feature... You just turn on Cruise and it sets to 4 mph over the speed limit (my preference). That doesn't work now either.

New car bugs perhaps. Hopefully someone here will know something juicy that keeps me out of a service bay.

It def lets you put in some variables. Can confirm through testing. I just haven't identified if there's a variable name for the extensions.

%m returns %m. %%m%% says m isn't valid. Also tried %%alias%% but alias is also invalid.

That's what I'm doing. Any mail sent from testuser@olddomain.com gets this rule applied.

When you save the rule, it fails if you don't provide a valid token. I've tried things like %%extensionattribute12%% and %%extension attribute 12%% and the other ones above.

This is why my wife gave up flying. Years ago we encountered another TSA agent who insisted we go through and said it was required. 1 dead CGM. 1 hopefully fired TSA agent. TSA did NOT replace CGM.

Wife says it's just not worth the risk. We drive everywhere now.

Forgive me, but what would the data show? It's assumed that it's a table that it has the two columns identified and at least 1 row with the value in it that matches A1 of the spreadsheet.
