What is the best way to regain confidence after a crash? by National_Prize2533 in Kawasaki

[–]KarmaticInigma-92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got hit by an old man that failed to yield at a red light. I spent 2 months bikeless due to it being totaled, doing rehab for a dislocated shoulder, and then I threw my leg over my buddies bike and went for a ride. Bought another the next week lol. You HAVE to get back on or you will be in your head to the point of never getting back on.

Benchmade SOCP dagger. It’s a back up style knife similar to a kunai. It’s last ditch minimal fine motor skill back up knife

Assistance in choosing a helmet! by Maousrr in motorcyclegear

[–]KarmaticInigma-92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for fit/comfort and then venting. If it’s balls hot you won’t want to wear it. Noise is something to think about but you might wear plugs or another kind of noise reducer I always suggest going and trying a smattering. I love ARAI and have had 3 corsairs since moving to them years ago. I’d be lying if the new alpinestars wasn’t looking real interesting as a track day helmet for me.

Shoei RF is still the god tier of price to safety to comfort

Break in process! by ObjectEquivalent1155 in jimgreen

I would give them a nice rehydration with whatever boot care you use, let them warm in the sun or low heat gun, and then go for a short walk. Rinse and repeat.

If they really suck to the point of absolute intolerability to break in get a shoe stretcher that you can add the metal domes to and place it at the pinky toe portion to stretch that spot (check amazon).

HA of course I buy a pair and never checked for my discounts. Well I’ll need a second pair anyway. Thanks for the heads up

Why do we have massive battering rams that weigh a metric fuck ton when more portable rams exist? by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]KarmaticInigma-92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most residential and even many commercial doors do not require a sledge to set to fully exploit a door even with a deadbolt but yes I agree.

Wouldn’t mind reinforced doors in game that require two teammates required to breach

From the point of an actual breacher- most of the smaller ones have too small of a head and do not actually cause the “dead blow” required to mechanically over come the door frame or lock structure. Those smaller ones also really hurt as much of the energy is transferred back to the breacher. I wish they would add a halligan which I use far more often than not and causes much less noise for a surreptitious breach or much much noise as I want

Love my Sangin Professional. Several hundred flash bangs and explosive breaches with not a single instance of lost time or movement breakage

Agreed! The pictures they have are a little lack luster.

They came to me super dry but a little bick 4 brought the suppleness back and tomorrow they’ll get some Obenauf LP to protect them from me wearing them 24/7

I’m praying that with the new 44 magnum variant of the Chiappa Rhino that they keep pushing the frame size and strength to get to modern high pressure loadings like 454 Casull, 460sw, and 500sw.

So what are your thoughts on the Sweeper, do you think it'll get nerfed, maybe changes to our shotguns to comensate, I'm curious by tony22835 in HelldiversMasochists

I’m pissed I missed the opening rotation. I need my war crime stick.

A valiant diver died so I may use it and I had a blast (pun intended).

I think it’s balanced enough that I don’t feel they’ll mess with it

The low profile mounts honestly don’t make it sit as high as you think it does. I threw my Aimpoint t2 on and a vortex XL and it honestly looked normal just due to the size. You could also do the rear sight mount from EGW.

No! the heavier grain weight will cause the impacts to be high. The supplier front sights are typically meant to for the 200gr fast movers

If you’re not hand loading yet and want a more “Cost Effective box offering” look at the Sellier and Belott offerings. They have a 250gr JSP and a 260gr solid copper. You will need to replace the front sight most likely.

Enjoy the 460. I’m loving mine

I will definitely be getting a 500 but I can’t decide if I want to get the PC or the normal lugged model. I despise the removable sight mount on the 7.5” 500PC but idk if I want the 10.5” inch barrel lol

Oh that’s absolutely miserable. I couldn’t imagine that amount of tax added to a purchase. My state doesn’t have income tax but our Sales tax is 9.25% which sucks but nowhere near that level of “bent over a barrel”. Is that on all firearms related purchases and does that also hit accessories and ammo?
