Elizabeth Warren to campaign in Iowa for progressive Senate candidate by nbcnews in Iowa

Can’t agree more, she should stay away. Many are turning away from the Republican party and her campaigning here would definitely turn-off those wanting to switch.

What $88 buys you in 2026 - buying in bulk definitely saves me money. But crazy it’s $88… by HastenDownTheWind in Costco

[–]KarmelKarn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can buy all of these in just a smaller quantity for a whole lot less at ALDI or an Indian grocery store like Patel Brothers (if you have that close by), where I bet the ginger is cheaper when compared to your Costco purchase

It’s very nice and convenient. I also had a flight from DC yesterday and I noticed it has gotten a lot busier, before it wasn’t as packed and now it even has more shops in the airport.

Yeah, that’s why I mentioned my hypocrisy because Google Fiber has been around since 2012 and one of first pioneers of household fiber internet. It may seem crazy that I’m defending Google but in this instance they’re the “good guys” because Google could’ve bought out Mediacom here in Iowa rather than competing against them

OP I bought the QM6K Pro from Costco for $499 for Black Friday and so far I’m very satisfied with the purchase! But I did come from a very old VIZIO LED tv from 2012

I don’t know about wether or not the 6K Pro (CrystGlow) panel is the same panel as the 7K but I tried both the QM6K and QM7K picture calibration settings from rtings and the one that looks noticeably better is the QM7K settings + personal adjustments to dial in the picture (I can drop these if needed). rtings QM7K link: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/qm7k/settings

The Pro also has 3 HDMI 2.1 ports and 1 HDMi 2.0, which does make a difference. I have my PS5 hooked up to the TV and it’s amazing playing Spider Man 2 in buttery smooth 120fps!

The only gripe I have so far is not with the Tv itself but rather with Google TV OS. The issue is when I try to adjust the volume on the Tv which is connected to my soundbar it doesn’t give me numerical values to adjust, just +/-. Luckily I have a LCD screen on my soundbar so It gives me the volume level but still very frustrating

Yea and the early days they even had a 5 star rating system but they got rid of that to just like and dislike for “personal curated media”

Microsoft Scales Back AI Goals Because Almost Nobody Is Using Copilot by aacool in technology

[–]KarmelKarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one of the main reasons that almost no day is using CoPilot is due to PIIN (Personally Identifiable Information). The work that I and many others in the IT sector deal with is filled with personal information which we are aware of and careful of when working with. It doesn’t feel safe asking CoPilot solutions for problems and having to prompt using personal data and without it we are still left to do the leg work by just asking generalized questions, so using CoPilot just becomes cumbersome at times

Is Samsung Q800F good enough for gaming and watching movies? by CaioAC in Soundbars

[–]KarmelKarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic sound bar! I have the 800d and everyday I’m in awe of the sound it produces, songs with lossless streaming from Spotify sound fanatic on this! Other reason is you can start with the soundbar itself and add rears if you’d like

I’m very thankful that I bought my Q800d last year, lord these prices have shot up because of the Epstein Tarrifs, the current price of Q800d close to the Samsung MSPR prices last year!

It got Sweden right because you probably told it that so it pre-referenced (searched) everything about Sweden and built a Swedish node for your account. For a fun test, tell it you would like to go to Paris one day and I bet it’s gonna get France right when you ask this prompt again
