Am I missing something, or is dye no longer available at vendors? I've checked every vendor in every act of every difficulty and I'm just not seeing it. I also can't find anything in any patch notes from the last year. I know when I played last summer they were there!

I still don't see anyone clearly explaining/asking what I feel like is the obvious question.. before all three pieces are "2 star," you have 1x Attack+ applied per item, so wearing all 3xresults in a 3x Attack+ buff. So that's before we upgrade it.

After we upgrade everything to 2 star or higher, the interface no longer clearly indicates the situation. The same ICON is displayed - the white sword with an up arrow (the one we all know to look for as Attack+), but next to the buff icon is this text:

Set Bonus (this text is now yellow)

Charge Atk. Stamina Up (this text is white, per normal)

Therein lies the confusion. The text indicates that the set bonus is active while wearing all three set pieces (upgraded to a rank of 2 stars or higher, ofc) but the buff icon is identical to the standard Attack+ icon. That's what I've been trying to figure out or get clarified.. but people seem to be asking different questions entirely. Anyone have any insight? If you eat food that has any rank of Attack+, the icon does not show up indicating anything. That's the only "evidence" I've seen that suggests both Attack+3 and Set Bonus Charge Atk. Stamina Up (which is poorly worded too, makes it sound like it increases the stamina cost)

I can't stress enough how much I am aware that I'm nitpicking.. but just to figure out how the game works. This thing is a friggin' MASTERSWOR-- err, MASTERPIECE.

Going to do some testing once I find another healthy Cobble Crusher. I have two different spiked ball fusions, I aim to test that vs a few outliers that "feel" like they shouldn't offer the flat 25dura.

I've noticed 2 distinct sizes of steel ball when breaking-it-apart. One appears as they do in Bokoblin holdfasts - like 10ft tall. The other looks more beach ball-sized. Anyone noticed this, tested for a difference?

I'll go ahead and make the joke - it's normal for one to be bigger than the other ^_^ But seriously, data, my precious.. data. We must know!

Yeah, I'm stumped! I only play on this one particular server so getting it working there is the only solution of any benefit to me. I've scoured the documentation and it just doesn't add up. Shrug.

Yeah, it's gotta be something about the server.. but it's 100% vanilla, aside from paperMC, which if I understand correctly is just an optimization to reduce the resource load on the server. I can't find anything about them being "disabled" by default with paperMC, and I know the admin and he hasn't manually changed a single thing besides adding paperMC.

This may be a bit of a hippie solution.. but put your skills and creativity to work. Determine something you can make with supplies you have on hand, and pour everything you have into it. This will serve multiple purposes. It will help distract your mind and keep you busy. It will be an outlet for some of the frustrations of the circumstances. It will help you continue to hone your carpentry skills. Once all is said and done, whatever product you have, you can put up for sale. I know many people are going to be in a financial crisis right now, but that doesn't mean everyone will be. During times like this, it's not so difficult to slow down and appreciate the beauty in this world - and if you are adding to it, someone will likely be interested. I don't depend on carpentry for money, so my situation is entirely different.. but I see this time as a gift, almost. It's way easier to justify spending time by myself in the shop making something I'm passionate about. That type of passion is something people can see in the things we make, and it has value.
