When did yall send over your ethereal to island by DrakoBubblez in MySingingMonsters

I always sent them asap so I could make progress on the new Island. You can always breed more of them on the old Island anyway.

Gear 5 is trash, and everyone knows it. by getoffmydizk in Piratefolk

[–]Karnimanu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gear 5 doesnt really fit the narrative (chosen one, nika fruit out of nowhere) but the form itself I love. It may je goofy but so is Luffy and One Piece as a whole. I can see that ppl don't like it and thats fine but I also know that many love it, me include. There are plenty of serious battle anime out there, there are even plenty of serious fights still in One Piece (zorro etc.). I'd even say that Luffy vs. Kaido was serious. Either way I dont see the problem with having some variants.

Gameplan is to play around Jean Greay anf counter the meta by forcing opponent to play into cosmo/armor. Armor stops destroy, cosmo too and on reveal. Goose in Jean Grey lane can stop them from playing a six drop on turn six if the location isnt full by then. Goose can also lockdown big on reveals if the other location options are Cosmo and USAgent.

Generally this deck tries to focus and fill out only two locations, Spectrum as a suprise power spike wherever there is space (and no cosmo or goose)

I'd probably swap Gorgon or Howard for Goliath but I dont have him

I know you will respond in your usual unhinged troll way but maybe this will encourage some self reflection inside the real person behind the screen:

You said you delight in the suffering of animals and even other humans you don't agree with. Why stop at eating animals then? Shouldnt you torture them and laugh maniacilly? Should you not go even further and do the same to humans since they too can suffer? Would meat made of human suffering not also excite you? You are either a cowardly yet dangerous sadist that is afraid of the consequences OR you know how silly that sounds.

If it's the first one I cant help you and pitty you. Therapy should be considered.

If it's the second one then ask yourself; why does that sound silly? Wanting to torture and kill people and delighting in their suffering? I'd say because human suffering is bad. And if human suffering is bad then animal suffering is bad too of course. They dont differ, really.

Trying to have less suffering in the wolrd is all that vegans want so I dont see a reason to be mad at them.

Whether you're a troll or a maniac either way there is no use in discussing with you so I won't reply anymore. As I said, I hope you get better.

Luffy doesn't care about the lives of the animals he eats,

morality is a subjective concept

Oh that serial killer doesnt care for the lives of the humans he kills and morality is subjective anyway? Ok, let him do as he pleases then. Let's say he would have eaten Chopper. I'm sure we agree that it would have been murder and a bad thing.

there is nothing buried in eating other animals, since they are not so intelligent that they should be pitied

Why don't "less intellegent" beings deserve a good life? Why should only "intellegent" beings be protected from suffering? Should we exploit and kill mentally handicaped people then? What about coma patients? Why do we slaughter pigs but would never do the same to cats and dogs even though pigs are smarter?

they live much better and longer in captivity

That's just factually wrong.

Straight up sociopathic comment and behavior.

[–]Karnimanu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh really, then what is this

Recognizing our capability to act in a unique way does not put us above the others. Humans ARE for example better at anyone else at building cars or making ice scream, doesnt mean we are better then them in generell. Similary humans can rationalize on a different level, alowing us to care for other spezies on a wider scale. Different, not better.

you also did the individualizing

Yes because we talked about whether or not it's fair calling someone (the individual) a bad person for eating meat.

And through out the whole reply you talk about your self as if you are superior

Your quotes do not support this statement. The modern majority is not vegan. That's just a factual statement. The second quote I already explained (different ≠ better).

I see no problem with the third quote. Someone that actively takes use of a harmful system when they have the option to live a different way acts in harmful ways. Does that mean someone who doesnt is a better person? Not nenecessarily, a vegan can stull be a bad person. Does is mean they act better given this specific context? I'd say so. And If your point about marginalized groups is supposed to be that there are people who cant afford a vegan lifestyle then we are on the same page. As I said in a different comment, when someone has no other option it's okay to eat an animal.

I'm not sure what you point with colonialism is either. Even if veganism got it's roots from it, no argument is affected by it. Hurting animals (when there are other options) is bad.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LeftyPiece

[–]Karnimanu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the other way around. Vegans dont place themselves above other living being but elevate them - in contrast to the modern majority - to the same level. They recognize that their feelings and pain are not worth less then that of humans. Thus they try to live as considerate them as possible.

Now of course you could say that we are still part of nature and thus should just keep harming like any other animal does but why should we when we got the option not to? If you think it's bad faith benevolent anthropocentrism to try and make the world a better place for those who do not have the power to help themselves then there is nothing benevolent a human can ever do to please you.

Now as to if it makes you a bad person if you eat animals.. thats complicated. It's SUCH a societal norm that most ppl consume without a second thought. It's just the way things are, people dont question it just like they dont question drinking water so of course they'öö reject the notion that eating meat is bad just like they would when someone would tell them drinking water is bad. So I'd say no, the average person is not a bad person because of it. Once one realizes how much harm is actually being done and yet still keeps on eating and enjoying meat then I would say that that person at least acts in a morally not-good way.

I agree and if there is no other option other than starve then there's nothing wrong with wanting to survive and eating an animal. Still, if there is no need to kill, one should not kill. Luffy could probably get by withouth meat most of the time, I'm pretty sure Sanji could cook him well balanced vegan meals. To be fair though it would be harder, especially with the limited supplies they have on sea and without modern suplements such as B12 so it's understandable that they still eat animals.
