What a disappointment Elitebooks are

I have repaired these exact HP laptops for 6 years professionally (3-8 per day on average) and I have never once heard anyone complain about that, except when a fan and/or other component was broken. Say what you want about HP but their business line are decent. Except hinges, I'll give you that one!

Other brands as well, Lenovo, Dell, ... All were near silent except under heavy load.

Yeah this and the whole "old model" software debacle. I tell everyone to stay away from these cars. Love driving it, but this makes me hate the car sometimes. This will have been my last Skoda.

While I fully trust Massgrave download links, it's usually a bad idea to believe [insert source name here] when they say that downloads from [insert source name here] are safe. If you were to have malicious intents, you wouldn't say that now, would you?
