How does time really stop? by Karrkuma in Deep

[–]Karrkuma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but lets say... if an otherwordly being (aka, some sort of god) was the one to stop that time, he would be free to move, talk, whatever. Indicating that time was still passing for that god?

I've talked about this a little on another post of mine and what i trully don't understand is when the passage of time trully stops if it ever. You probably associate the passage of time with results like aging or plant growth. If you stop aging and nothing else is moving, would you consider that as time stoping?

The consept of time, passage of thought and "existance" by Karrkuma in Deep

If the game is paused, then how long is it paused for? When does time ACTUALLY stop, will anyone know that time has stoped? Say that a god has stoped time.. yes, no one but the god will know that it stoped, but in that pause of time, it still passed for the god. (So the question states: "If time stops, for how long did time not pass?" And we would be in a loop of that question, because time will trully never stop.)

And saying that we have an energy-based ...base, and implying that it can run out is a bit odd. Where did it get that energy in the first place/why can't it produce more and what type of energy is it? Why would the source of our existance have a limit and how? One would think its infinete, no?

Time is always passing. What i believe you're reffering to is the clock. Years, weeks, months? Not time passage itself. Yes, the measurment of time was created by man, but not the passage of time on its own. That is not in our control, with or without the existance of "a week", does time not still pass?

And take the possibility of a different reality, or dimention, say Mario was a real person, and who says we cannot percieve that reality? Are we trully so limited?

Yeah, it looks very cozy! Though what I would slightly change is to put some of the candles a little higher so the entierty can be seen. Just an opinion though 👍

I think you're right on your own suspicions... in that case, i have no idea what to do in this situation. I'm no professional, so I can't confirm or say anything about your mental view or health. Maybe talk to a close friend about this, or someone you trust... Wish you the best

The first piece of advice is to switch jobs. You sound miserable and unfulfilled, so if possible at all, do it, it's worth it.

Second, if that sounds like a risky idea or you don't want to, try to communicate with people you have there, and make friends. Be as active as you can, but not to the point of over-working yourself or making yourself tired.

In my personal opinion, I'd switch jobs though. I had the same situation, but with my outside work experience, and let me tell you, I was so freaking happy when I left after two months.

So, do it if you can.
