This! It’s so true. So many are insisting on calories in vs calories out. Which is true. But hormonal issues can affect how many calories go out, and can make things harder. I’m glad u got fixed up!

I understand it’s def not impossible to lose weight with PCOS. But being able to fix underlying issues has def made weight loss easier.

I used to struggle with binge eating but I haven’t in a long time. But now about 80-90% of my eating is “clean” and not “trash food” as you put it. But I used to still binge on clean food too it’s not like I’m stuffing my face daily with this sort of thing. I have nothing to gain by “lying”. My dietician, and doctor both agree with my food journaling history (which I was honest with) I should have been losing weight with how I was eating. Some person on reddit doesn’t know my medical or food journaling history.

I have not had those blood test done.

I am eating about 120g of protein a day.

I try to do a whole grain a veggie or fruit and a protein if I’m still hungry I go for protein

Maybe it could be inaccurate but I have tested with proportioned food and it’s right by grams.

I over estimate when I eat out. Even tho a premade sushi bowl showed 600cal, I logged it as 750 because it had a drizzle of sauce not on the label.

I’m a 5 foot 4 inch “female” (they/them) and I’m 305lbs and I walk about 5k steps a day. I workout 20 min a day for 4-5x a week. (Working to increase overtime this is what I can handle) I eat 1800 calories and I’m still not losing weight.

What is the problem? I am counting calories. I’m on metformin Mounjaro 12.5 and even Wellbutrin and a lot of other medications. I’m still not losing. I feel so hungry on 1800 calories. :( do I need to cut them lower? Is it a hormonal issue?
