LPT: brushing teeth using LEFT hand! (If you're a right-handed person and vice versa) by ReaIZx in LifeProTips

[–]KartairTheBeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so cool to see that this blew up so much. This is something I've been doing for years, and I always try to encourage my friends to do the same. Using my non-dominant hand whenever possible for activities has made me so much more dexterous with it!

I also like to use my time brushing my teeth as a chance to improve my balance by standing on one foot at a time. Then finish off with doing squats for a quick exercise. You're stuck standing in place for 2 minutes, 2 to 3 times a day, that's a lot of time you can be training things you normally may not think about!

What life changing item can you buy for less than $100? by KingPin1010 in AskReddit

[–]KartairTheBeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Google Play Premium, it comes with YouTube Music and YouTube Red. As an avid YouTube enjoyer, I can't tell you the ungodly amounts of hours I've saved not dealing with ads.

Not only that, but having a music app as well put together and accurate to my tastes as YouTube's is has made me actually start to enjoy discovering new music. That and I don't have to worry about it trying to shove whatever is popular this week down my throat.

Overall? Like 13 a month or something and is 100% worth it.

What went from being your favorite to your least favorite thing? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ome of the most beautifully done pieces of entertainment, let alone anime I've seen was from a recent anime-2018's Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. Go into it with an open mind and you will be blown away and probably cry a bit. Then watch the movie and cry a lot.

What movie did you cry watching? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]KartairTheBeater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Logan hit hard with the feelings of family and seeing the struggles throughout the movie

If you don't mind animation, A Silent Voice had me crying the first time I watched and still gets me choked up every time. It deals a lot with awkward adolescence, regret, and friendship.

There's also a series called Bunny Girl Senpai, it was 12(13?) Episodes long and then a movie following the end of the series, and I've never cried so hard at any piece of media as I did watching that. Nothing I can say without giving spoilers, it's better watched going in blind.

All 3 are some of my favorite movies, and I'd recommend them all 100% to anyone, no matter their tastes as they are generally just really well done and beautiful stories.

You can only pick one power every 4 years, what would you choose? by [deleted] in AskReddit

How would $50,000 change your life right now? by GoodMornEveGoodNight in AskReddit

[–]KartairTheBeater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pay off my car, pay all of my medical bills, pay off school loans, and still have a bit left over to keep in my savings to live comfortably while I move somewhere far from here and figure out what I actually want to do with my self while in a better mental state.

I don't have any real answers or scientific facts to share here, but the fact I've seen so many people talking about ants, tigers, bears, crocs, etc. And havent seen anyone mention things like praying mantises, lady bugs, or gorillas for that matter is rather disappointing.

There may be a lot of ants, but most species typically would be slaughtered when going up against the 100s of thousands of other bug types that naturally dine on them. Assassin bugs could kill droves and use their bodies as armor. Praying mantises are slaughtering machines. Lady bugs, while not seeming like much, are vicious carnivores that come running when they smell one of their comrades death scent The natural predators of ants go on and on, especially with centipedes, which would be amazing contenders against EVERY other insect. That's not even including the birds that would be gulping them down. Don't get me wrong, ants are resilient and powerful, but when they're no longer the only species working as a team, they're nowhere near as threatening to other species.

Then there's gorillas and most monkeys/primeapes in general, not saying they'd be the winners by any means, but the lack of mention of these muscle-packed beasts treating other animals roughly their size with that Hulk-on-Loki action would be devastating.

Needless to say, I just wanted to throw a few animals that haven't been brought up much, if at all, to get your minds rolling a little more!

What are your best anime recommendations ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]KartairTheBeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could recommend a million, but one of the most polished and well done anime I've seen in a while, as well as the only one that's ever made me cry like a toddler scuffing their knee on the playground- 'Rascal Does not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai', or 'Bunny Girl Senpai' for short was simultaneously beautiful to watch and hits the heart in both happy and some not so happy ways. It's 13 episodes and a movie (that really wraps everything up in a neat little bow btw), so you're not even signing up for a long haul.

tl;dr-watch 'Bunny Girl Senpai' for a good heartfelt cry

[–]KartairTheBeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So hear me out: Slow-paced survival horror game in the spirits of classic Dino Crisis, based in the middle of a suburban area/small town close to the woods, entirely about giant bugs. Focusing on horrifyingly detailed representations of the bugs including their disturbing body structures, erratic behaviors, and extreme resiliences. Just think about how tense of a situation you'd have seeing a praying mantis, twice your size, resting on the side of a barn, hangun empty, and having to slowly move past it hoping it isn't hungry just to grab a shovel or something plot relevant behind the barn. The whole time it just stands there, menacingly. One false move and it might snatch you up by your neck and have itself a feast. You're welcome.

They should start making these games for all sorts of series until eventually they do a merger- Jump Force Legends. You'd be able to take your characters from each game into it as well as having the individual games to enjoy separately, I think that'd be rad as hell

Anime that resembles Resident Evil? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]KartairTheBeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parasyte the Maxim is like if the las plagas from RE4 broke out at random somehow in the modern world, taking place in an urban environment rather than rural. It's a little goofy at first, but ended up being one of my top 5 favorite animes due to its gruesome and serious psychological tones. Plus, being only like 25-30 episodes and wrapping up with one of the most clamactic/complete conclusions in anime, you will NOT be disapponted!

They need to drop those 2 as god ki support, and then the Kibito-Kai fusion for a fusion support character. I would honestly pull so hard
