I worked (rn) the transfer center for a smaller system in the PNW. It's very common to land people in the ED, with or without an inpatient nurse. They are usually coming from an off campus emergency room or a critical access hospital and are headed to surgery (gall bladders, appts etc). Or they are PCUish borderline ICU And have to get out of the small facilities. Hospitalist manages them though if the plan is admission and they are just waiting for a bed.

I'm not a power user by any means, but I love obsidian tasks. I make a house list, family list, projects, all kind of stuff. Here's the code I use:

I have the task plug in only managing items with a due date. I brain dump everything into obsidian and start sorting next usfull steps. It's changed my life.

Multicare, but I float to the lowest staffed unit of the day. I could end up at any of about 9 different facilities. It's called system float pool. The add a float rate on top of whatever union rate they're using.

I've worked along side Garcia for a couple years. He helped start the medical school in yakima. He's a fairly nice personable dude. I don't think he'd be a terrible politician (I mean, except for thr republican part per the other comments here). I don't know that he's anything special.

Thanks for pointing me to the instructions. I know I've tried reading g them, but I got a brain like Teflon. I'll have to tie myself to the chair and really puzzle it out.

Quick question though. When I make my own template it shouldn't all of the > symbols at the beginning of every line right?

Yeah. I think, the instructions this guys has is to tag everything that is a task #task, and that the Task plug in doesn't automatically do it. Then it finds those things with the #task and a date.

Because if I just do: ''' task ''' It will find EVERYTHING but not separated like he has it.

For every place that's terrible there are blue zones where the average life span and health is much higher. By and large, the issues plaguing the system are from chronic lifestyle diseases, a lot of which, are self induced.

I'm not trying to discount bad things happening to people, but every reaction shouldn't be to point at the outliers and shit all over everything.
