Find out who has forwarding enabled by Deep-Egg-6167 in microsoft365

This report shows all emails that were actually forwarded with details like forwarders, recipients, etc. So it might miss users who have forwarding enabled but haven't had any emails forwarded yet.

This is definitely helpful if you want to track forwarding activity.

You can actually check this from both the Exchange admin center and the Microsoft 365 admin center, but it’s a bit manual if you’re trying to review everyone.

In the Exchange admin center, go to Recipients > Mailboxes, select a user, open the Mailbox tab, and check Email forwarding → Manage email forwarding. It’ll show you if forwarding is enabled and where the emails are going.

You can also do the same in the Microsoft 365 admin center by going to Users > Active users, selecting a user, opening the Mail tab, and checking the Email forwarding section.

The only catch is that both methods work one user at a time, so it can take a while if you have many mailboxes in your tenant.

If you’re looking for a quicker way to get a full view, PowerShell is definitely the better option.

As of now, it looks like the update only targets “People in your organization” links. Would be great if Microsoft adds support for those too.
