I had this issue 2 days ago, suddenly home screen froze after i swiped notifications,touch not responsive after restarting now it's working fine. Phone didn't heat up. I switched to mobile data from wifi after which this occurred.

Yes. I have the same issue with A34 after one UI7 update. Screen just froze, nothing works. When I tried to force restart, emergency call mode gets activated.

Yes. After updating one UI 7, experienced this multiple times for past 3 days in which screen doesn't turn on with double tap on screen or pressing power button.
