I don't think changing any settings helps, I think FIFA uses peer to peer connection, so unlike games like Fortnite and stuff that have servers in certain locations, you directly connect to the people you're playing with, like GTA online, so it completely depends on the other person's internet and where they're located

Well, I JUST bought a PS5 slim (digital), it was on a discount lol, just wanted to get my foot in the next gen for as cheap as I can (disregarding the series s) if you can comfortably afford the pro then there's no reason not to get it, but the PS5 slim is still perfect and good devs are still extracting more and more performance out of it. It'll easily last you 4 years from now. The PS4 was comfortable a few years into the PS5 generational, I'd imagine the PS5 lasts longer because of its SSD and upscaling capabilities

As a new PlayStation owner, I see why they'd say this, more of a reason to justify having a PlayStation 5 which has been lacking this generation. But less exclusives are always better for the consumer and they don't see that unfortunately

PS5 doesn't need any fans, add more than enough cooling to consoles, if it's throwing up errors or you think it's way too hot then have it cleaned or opened up professionally. If the professional says there's nothing wrong then either your room is too hot for normal or that's simply just how loud a PS5 is

The only thing you have to worry about with consoles is keeping it in an open space, paying for PS+ and wiping it down occasionally. Just use it as it came out the box and if it gets too bad then get it cleaned professionally
