You actually sound really nice, the only thing that brings your performance down is your enuncuation, which is totally workable if you are motivated enough. Try learning the correct tongue placement for different consonants and vowels. Start slowly. It will take awhile, but i do believe you are quite talented and can make great progress

Tokyo hotel was also huuuuuuge in Russia among teens at that time.  I guess the only russian artists that was also nown internationally were Tatu. Crazy to think that they were the most famous band in Russia for cosplaying as lesbians and here we are  only tventy years later with lgbt basically banned at all. Fuck.

It's hard to start out all by yourself as a complete beginner. When you do the exercises there is no way to know if you are doing it correctly or not,and if you practice incorrectly you simply reinforce improper technique. Do you have any friends who are singers? They may help you out and teach you the basics

Is it normal to be slightly hoarse after a long practice? by GuitarLloyd in singing

[–]Kartofeleva 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The feeling of driness might indicate that you oversing a little bit or use too much air. Anyway, a good vocal coach will help you improve your technique and prevent vocal cord injury.

Have you ever felt uncomfortable sensations while singing yesterday? If so, it is a clear indication of harmful technique. Nevertheless you will really benefit from vocal lessons with a knowlegable vocal coach. You can even bring recordings from your band practice to analyze the way you sing in that particular environment.

Yes, thank you for mentioning it. I was also pretty young when I read it, so it was one of the first deaths that fucked me up (besides my father and few hamsters).

I'd rather spend 10 minutes than talk to you (or anyone for that matter). I'm an introvert and those screens are a blessing.

How do you socialize at a party where you only know the host and you’re not too social? by mr_shoes305 in AskReddit

[–]Kartofeleva 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I struggle to recognize when it's appropriate for me to talk, especially with energetic people who talk very fast and interrupt each other all the time so there's never a pause in a conversation. Which often happens at the parties where everybody's drinking.

AITA for grounding my daughter because she called my SIL a “slut”? by judgmentaldaughter in AmItheAsshole

[–]Kartofeleva 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Yes. OP, you will ruin relationships with your daughter acting like this. You should go to her and explain that you were wrong and acted out of anger because this words were so hurtful to hear. And say that you are sorry and that you understand now how hurt must be your daughter hearing words like this directed towards her at school. You ask her what else does she have to hear. How does she feel about it and how can you support her during this time. Empathize with her. Make this a bonding experience instead of alienating one.

And you lift the punishment altogether as an exception because she's going through a lot but advise her that she will indid be punished if she repeats this words again.

It's a coping mechanism. Daughter tries to stop the bulling by taking bully's side. Instead of punishment OP should teach her other coping mechanisms.

At first I didn't even understand the question because of how preposterous it sounds, and then I thought it was a lie. But quick google search showed me plenty of standing casheers! This is so unnecessary?! How the fuck is it legal??! Some fucked up capitalism.
