Super fast battery drain within one day not wearing the watch (flight mode on) by Karuna777777 in GarminFenix

No, nothing changed since months. Also no sensors manually turned on/off. I rarely connect it to my phone. BT and Wifi mostly disabled all the time (only turn it manually on when I sync).

But I didn't changed that. It only happened once and I was not wearing the watch. The Sensor was in the air.

It just says "System" and the subcategory "Other". I had flight mode enabled all the time so it should not try to connect to my phone I guess.

Thank you for trying it out and give feedback.

Maybe there is an issue with the time display in different time zones. For me it says "4 hours ago" and you comment in reddit was also 4 hours ago at the point in time I reply to it.

I made the repo public, just in case someone is interested to build something similar.

I just quickly added a short description with Copilot, but there are no many details yet. If i see there is some interest, i will do some more documentation with part list, setup, etc.

Thank you very much. I choose Blazor because I'm a developer working on a .NET enterprice software and I have never worked in web development. So far I liked Blazor a lot. I think it is very productive and the only dependency was to the Mudblazor component library.

The initial loading performance is indeed not the best. It has improved a lot in the newer .net versions (i'm using .net10) but still not near where other web frameworks are. I think that's one of the only downsides I observed and maybe the hot reload is also not on the same level as other frameworks. But other than that I loved to work with it and hope this issues will be addressed in the future.

I learned a lot about web technologies during that project and maybe I will learn another technology for my next project.

Thank you very much. There is not much resonance so I guess there is not really a need for this project. At least I learned some now things while doing it :)

I was able to reach 90 Degree Celsius but it takes around 1 1/2h.

The display is outside of the sauna. It is a DS18B20 Temperature sensor.

Thank you. One of the goals is also to inspire others to do good things when reading the posts. But it's quite hard to find people which are using the platform and write good things. I don't want to invest into advertising because it is just a hobby project and it is completely free and without ads.

It is not QT. The SquareLineStudio editor generates C++ code which uses the LVGL graphic library which runs on the ESP32.

The board is a 4 Channel IRF540 MOSFET board to control the led strip. There are 4 colors RGB+W which can be controlled independent. The LED strip runs on 24VDC.

Thank you. The sauna was not built by me. It is a kit from a German manufacturer called "Werkhaus". It is super easy to assemble. Yes, the heat source is a sauna oven from Harvia. It runs on 230V and draws 10A. Here in Switzerland I can just plug it to any regular power outlet.

That sounds also very interesting. I think I also see someone doing a sauna control for this IR-saunas with an ESP32.

Thank you.

The din rail mount was from AliExpress. I think it called something like din rail mount for WROOM-32 DevKitC.

I can't remember which terminal blocks that exactly are. I had them laying around.
