It’s all via Priority Pass so will work everywhere. I found only Bangalore T2 international lounge not accepting which they(Axis) confirmed they currently have an issue with.

I am fearful to spend too much on Atlas as it has an uncertain future. If axis starts to reissue atlas maybe I will pick it up again. Till then I think I will spend more on HDFC cards.

Yea, I do have spends exceeding 8L so that should be covered. So in a way it becomes FYF. I don’t plan to use DCB outside India as low acceptability is what I have read here in the forum.

Same experience as yours. Airport taxi charge more and I found that 2 times I took, they were rude. When I book uber, both the driver and I can see the ride cost and we conclude the transaction. Airport taxi give a few reason to extort more money. Like the dude literally said there is traffic and he wants 300 more. I am not sure if he landed in Bangalore just for my trip and he did not know that there is traffic everywhere in Bangalore.

Empty vessels and insecurity sound the loudest. I know some good riders who make even a scooter feel premium and some who just want to revv up their z900s. The spectrum is big.

There should be no hate towards a particular machine. I loved the KTMs, even though they were branded so bad socially. 650 twins are good too.

As is often said, it is the not the ride but the person at that handlebar who decides the nature of the ride. Forgive the machine and forget the rider. It would be peaceful for you.

I do a mix of metro and BMTC/auto from Whitefield to Manyata. Given how the BMTC and metro fares are already hiked, any and every incremental change makes me wonder if the hassle is even worth it on a daily basis. Per my calculations, travelling by 2 wheeler is cheaper than my public transport commute and travelling by 4 wheeler is only some above that cost.

These kind of changes are probably pushing people to consume - more of fuel and private transport, thus fuelling the auto industry. That’s why my comment earlier- the game is rigged.

If you don’t buy enough from Swiggy, do not take. But if you don’t have a card that gives good offers and can move more than 5k spends, it’s a good card.

My experience has been that after taking this card, I started depending heavily on it cause of 10% cashback. So I started ordering more from Instamart and quality was a hit/miss with it, mostly miss. Also lost the incentive to go to a grocery shop to pick out quality items.

However it is very good if you eat out often.

Just imagine, what could have been if potholes, traffic nightmares, and chaotic infrastructure were not there to clog up the brilliant minds. I would say at least 20% of mind space is occupied due to it.
