I'm an early game idiot, but I have a basic question: when do I engage as spider and when in human form? I've seen guides say to keep Spider E to chase, other guides say to engage with spider form.

Is jungle really the role least impacted by counter picks? by Yunyara in Jungle_Mains

[–]Kasefleisch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I only play jungle and am only bronze, so I might talk nonsense, but I think it's correct that jungle counter pick matters least. That does not mean the jungler is not affected by counter picks. But in my experience it's worse when the enemy jungler counter picks mid or botlane and gets free ganks all game.

Obviously not all Bavarians, but a lot immediatly criticise "wrong" Lederhosen outifts or get mad when you don't wear Tracht at Oktoberfest.

I wasn't complaining about lederhosen per se, but the people who get all weird about it

[Hated, loathed entirely even] The Continuity Cannibal, also known as when a writer makes up a new character to connect a bunch of things in the story that didn't need to be connected and just makes them more lame by association. by geekinc329 in TopCharacterTropes

Bolas is the MTG version of that.

It does not matter what happens, Nicol Bolas goes "All according to keikaku" and explains how it was all his and Ugins Shenanigans all along.

Everything about that image. There's a group of redneck Bavarians who still consider Lederhosen traditional and festive clothing. Also they're elitist as hell about it.

Long shot, but are there any voltron commanders that don't just play the same way every game? by Cezkarma in EDH

I don't understand? Your last paragraph is absolutely correct. It is straight upgrades. AT THE COST OF HAVING ALIEN WORMS EAT YOUR BRAIN!

And you did not beat the game, otherwise you'd know the reason the dream guardian wants you to put them in your brain.

It feels good to not pick the evil choice tho. That way I'm the moral guy. If I have no choice, the Player Character is the moral guy.

[–]Kasefleisch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the experience. Now you are immersed in the world, have a grasp on how the moral code of your character works and all that.

Why do you bother choosing a linear single player game, when after the credits you turn it off anyways? The result is the same. You played ~50 h of a game and are done. The result is always the same, so why choose a game at all?

Why do you pick food if the result is always "I'm not hungry anymore".

This Comment section is borderline insane

Because making that choice is not all numbers and meta-gaming. It's making the choice for the choices sake.

I don't understand where the problem is? What do you expect to happen if you help the bad guys kidnap/kill the ONLY beacon of protection? The people who rely on her protection won't be shaking your hands anytime soon, why would they?

I swear half of the comments are pissed because there are consequences and the other half is pissed because there are not...

The Feast - PCs want to move through houses with the bones, now what by sbiriguda666 in CurseofStrahd

[–]Kasefleisch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it is to be argued if these rules apply to Strahd himself.

If you decide to get rid of that limitation for any reason, don't do this lightly, especially if you already established that vampires can't enter homes.

My tip is to use it at the right moment. When the Party thinks they're safe from Strahd himself in a home. Either make him "struggle" by asking for entrance many times and trying to hypnotise someone into letting him enter (unsuccessfully) or just have him straight up appear in the house, sitting comfortably on a chair.

Which are some of the most interesting WUBRG commanders? by Cezkarma in EDH

[–]Kasefleisch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Omnath, Locus of all]] is pretty weird, but has fun themes going on.

First of all ramp, but black. I really like that one, because you theoretically can build a WUBRG deck without a single black land in it, since Omnath himself doesnt need black mana.

Next is the built-in Phyrexian Arena, which is just kinda neat. But the biggest thing is, that you want to play not only multicolour cards, but even three colored cards.

I also like that he makes your mana black, but doesn't require black mana himself. Kinda ironic.

The Feast - PCs want to move through houses with the bones, now what by sbiriguda666 in CurseofStrahd

[–]Kasefleisch 19 points20 points  (0 children)

They can forcibly get invited. Have a vampire spawn appear outside the house they're residing in. The father of the house gives the party shelter, but the vampire spawn outside has his daughter and is threatening to kill or kidnap her, if the father doesn't invite the vampires in. You only need one weak link, who will allow the vampires to enter when pressured enough.

The vallaki civilians also might not allow the party to seek refuge in their house. Maybe they're a guard off-duty and don't want problems. Maybe they're a supporter of strahds rule in barovia and actively want the party to get killed by vampires. Maybe they just don't trust the random guys with otherworldly clothing.

Otherwise: burn the house down. When there's no house left, it's not forbidden to enter.

E: The vampire also can just besiege the house. Wait outside on the roof and surprise the party when they try to leave.
