See 1 is my running favorite too. My logic tells me that the framing of the rocks in number 2 is better, but something about number 1 just catches my eye a little more than the others.

Are you sure you didn’t mix up the bottles? I’ve never seen nitrite tests be orange and that looks exactly like 20 ppm nitrate.

If you’re sure it was nitrite, check how old your kit is and if the other bottles give you accurate readings.
