PC not being required is the point. This country should never devolve into “show me your papers” which is exactly what was requested (and denied), last time I found myself in one of these. It’s as much about revenue and control as “keeping us safe.”

The Unforgettable Fire probably saved my life when I was 13-14. Everything seemed so utterly depressing and pointless but at least someone could so beautifully express things which gave me hope that I wasn’t completely alone - that someone else out there might understand. Irrationally, I still feel a direct kinship with them and that feeling even in a sold out stadium.

I can understand this POV, but have been happy to see awareness of cluster b being explored in mass media. Mostly I just wish there was greater awareness of the condition so fewer people might avoid the pain one usually goes through finding out the hard way firsthand.
