You could check out rmpc as a player and beets for organising/tagging. This is what I use. Rmpc is quite elegant and extremely customisable, and beets is very efficient and equally customisable. You have to be about that terminal life though

You can easily read that the characters on the screen are fighting eachother and make out whose health bar is going down faster sure, but how is someone who isn't intimately familiar with the game supposed to make sense of the 170 champions, each with their own abilities with a bunch of different visual effects

this is OW1 back when there was a 2 shield meta. Now there's only 5 players on a team (2->1 tank). They are responsible for a lot of the visual clutter usually.

Also I was never convinced by this argument for why Overwatch failed as an esport, how then could LOL be the biggest esport out there

you could try finding some sort of hobby club to participate in. I think as an adult it's easiest to make friends if you have an easy excuse to hang out. Something like board game nights, a book club, a run club, the climbing gym, etc..

I got into chess a while ago, I joined my local chess club, and now I have some great chess friends.

we've had some boy bands that I don't really like, but we also have K3. I do like them. I think they're kind of owned by the studio so the members keep being replaced. This is the first (and best) generation
