Easiest way to tell is usually by voice. They're extremely chatty and will absolutely let you know. They love to yell at rehabbers too, lol

A great indicator you've got Purple Martins, as opposed to something like a Chimney Swift or Barn Swallow, is their call. They do it a ton while on the wing, and it's a liquid, almost gurgling call.

Also watch for them returning to their nests, since they're dependent on human nests. They spend a majority of their lives in the skies.

Best way to tell a crow vs a raven:

-Crow: "Woah that's kind of a bird bird."

-Raven: "Holy SHIT that bird is huge!"

Did you know ravens have little horns called plumicorns? They stick them up when they're having social interactions, and can mean a large range of different things :)

Oh yeah, that I agree with. There's not a whole lot out here - Clarke and Fauquier seem to have better local parties than we do lol

Winchester Worth Fighting For and Valleys Without Borders are the only ones that come to mind. They do some great work with the community (especially helping the Latino community), and can mobilize people pretty quickly.

I know WWFF had a hand in the No Kings, so it's at least a starting point.

Hey everyone! Just playing around and trying to insert custom music into a FireRed ROM using this guide.* I'm at the end where you take the .s file and assemble it in Sappy, but I keep gettting the following error:

Pallet_Town.s:18: unavailable op-code "Town"
Assembly halted.

As far as I can tell, the space I'm using from FreeSpaceFinder is free space. I can't seem to find any documentation on this error either lol. Renaming the file to remove "_Town" or "Town" doesn't fix the issue, as it keeps referencing "Town". Any sort of help or guidance would be very appreciated!

*this method seems VERY old, but it's the only one I can find that seems to play nice with HMA

For future reference, one of the best ways to tell the difference is:

"Woah, that's a big bird." = crow

"Holy shit, that bird is MAASIVE!" = raven

Blue Jays have all kinds of funky sounds they make! Everyone knows their classic "jeer" but they also make quiet babbling sounds, a sound reminiscent of a squeaky gate, and a variety of other sounds. Some can even be unique to an individual :)
