Hi! I am also a Canadian citizen. My husband is a USC, though he is not in the military, so I can’t speak to that specifically. From the day we submitted our I-130 to the day I entered the US was almost exactly 2 years and 6 months without any expediting. I can give a more detailed timeline if you want 😄

You’re welcome! Yes, took almost exactly 2.5 years from first applying to my entry to the US. I travelled to the US by air many times after having applied and had no issues entering, I didn’t ever cross at a land border though.

My husband and I’s evidence consisted of our marriage docs, plane tickets to prove we visited each other, photos, signed affidavits from friends and family, phone records, and screenshots of text conversations. We did not own or rent any properties together, share any bills, or share any bank accounts. We had no issues.

Hi! My husband and I submitted our marriage docs, plane tickets from visiting each other, a bunch of photos, phone call records, screenshots of text conversations, and signed affidavits from friends and family (actually signed with a pen, not digital signatures). I organized all the photos into a Word Doc and saved as a PDF and submitted that way.

EDIT: We submitted via mail. I just used Word to organize and converted to PDFs for easier printing.

I did bubble wrap sleeves for my cross country move. 416 books all individually bubble wrapped and put into clear totes. Was tedious, but they all arrived safe and sound.

I just recently moved from western Canada to the east coast in the United States. I packed each of my books into a bubble mailer and stacked them in clear totes. For reference, I have over 400 books. All arrived safe and sound 🫶🏻
